Divine Favor

Really a nice surprise to take with a cup of dark coffee!

I stumbled upon this randomly while searching for something else, and I'm so glad I did. It's genuinely upsetting despite its short run time, with some cool art and horrible (in the best way possible) sound design. Definitely worth a look if you enjoy psychological horror.

Spooky, cause like i'm afraid of literally every bug that ever existed. I don't understand why the first like hour was just black though. The game seemed long at the start but faster when things started going. I don't know if this is going to get updates or more story but overall pretty spooky man. The story is pretty good and the art is too. For what is I don't feel that it would be worth $1 as the story is kinda short. But if you like this sorta spooky text story then I definitely recommend, but this game just ain't my cup of tea.

This is an absolutely incredible short read. For me, incredibly terrifying, for bugs but even moreso on a cosmic and spiritual level. Divine Favor is a wonderfully put together short story that the art and sound elevates beautifully. This is the exact type of, I suppose the best word is horror, that I love and would love to see more of.

This is a horror-themed kinetic novel with a storyline that is interesting, but hard to talk about without spoiling. The storytelling and imagery does its job well in the short runtime. As the developer says, however, Divine Favor is not long (5-10 minutes), so keep that in mind.

In hindsight, I should have known this, but there is absolutely zero gameplay. However, it is a very interesting story which is thoroughly enhanced by the sound effects. It does what it does well, but it really doesn't do much. A little bit overpriced even with the low price of .99.
