Night Thorns grew across the land and severed the wonderful memories tied to this magical place. With nowhere else to go, the hopeless inhabitants of Dreamlight Valley retreated behind locked doors in the Dream Castle.

From the moment I stepped into the Valley, I was hooked. The world is colorful, charming, and packed with enough nostalgia to make my inner child do cartwheels. Wandering around and suddenly bumping into beloved Disney characters never really gets old. One minute I'm gardening, the next I'm helping a wizard with his latest magical problem or fishing alongside a demigod. The decorating system deserves a standing ovation. What starts as placing a few benches quickly evolves into meticulously redesigning entire biomes because that one pathway is two tiles off-center and now everything is ruined. The level of creativity the game allows is incredible, and seeing your Valley slowly transform into your own Disney dreamland is endlessly satisfying. If you enjoy cozy games, decorating, collecting, and a healthy dose of Disney nostalgia, Dreamlight Valley is an easy recommendation. Just be prepared to lose track of time while convincing yourself you're only logging in to harvest a few pumpkins.
