not going to lie, i never had played these types of games and i seen it for 5 bucks and i was like hey lets try this! i have had a lot of time playing the classes and fell in love with the priest, the game styles fast pace and much like games that you can play for 20 minutes turns into hours in a blink of a eye, i come home from work and im on till i go to bed! can not wait and see where this indie game goes, i know i will be there every step of the way! only downside to the game, i cant play it while at work... lol
This is not normally the type of game that I play, but after playing for a bit I had a hard time putting it down, I wanted to get stronger and stronger so I could make it further. What kept the game interesting for me is that even though I was getting stronger, the enemies would get stronger and more and more would spawn, so there was always a need to continue upgrading. There is also good variety of classes with different skills, class specific permanent upgrades, and per session upgrades, as well as multiple maps and bosses with a variety of mechanics that kept things interesting. I was glad to notice that there was a setting in the pause menu to change game speed on the fly, so that when I died and started the map over I could speed things up until it got crazy again. This is overall a quite fun game especially for the price and I would definitely recommend.
[+] It's actually quite fun. [+] game speed adjustable [+] rougle like elements [-] the GUI is pretty raw. [-] you really need to get used to the controlls... [-] Sometimes it get's pretty laggy when too many mobs are around. All in all I'd say it's woth playing, especially for the price. Btw, if you don't wanna get frustrated big time, start with the rouge ;)
I am proud to be this simple but fun's fourth review. Elegant skeleton of a game to be. And for $3 it's fun to be able to play something that the dev will re-release 5-10 years from now. This game is the start of something great. Keep at it, fam.
