Disc Golf

xxx Update: Everything i said below stands, but the AI opponents seem to be broken, i.e they do not recognize hazards/obstacles, which will get them stuck in front of rocks & large water surfaces, even trees. Everything else is solid, but this needs fixing. xxx This is already a very solid game - simple, slightly stylized, but functional graphics, which I appreciate especially on a SteamDeck. I am no disc golfer irl, but flight and ground physics (collision and rolling) appear very accurate. Controller is integrated and mapped. Several locations, holes, discs, avatars to unlock. There is already much to love and enjoy here.

If you're looking for something fun and unique out of a disc golf game, then look no further. The mechanics of throwing focus on hitting timing cues similar to more traditional golf games over the action of pulling back that is typical of other disc golf games. The gameplay is just disc golf, but done exceptionally well. Every time you unlock a new disc, player, or course is very exciting! There is a video tutorial if you need it, but the controls are very intuitive. This game is worth every penny and more for disc golfers who are stuck indoors, or are looking to get some more disc golf in their lives. I certainly plan on spending several more hours on the digital courses of Disc Golf!

This game really scratches the itch when I can't go out and play actual disc golf. The mechanics of having to factor in the wind, what disc you're throwing, how hard you want to throw it, and actual obstacles is a real big plus for me

This game is a lot of fun and makes me excited for Disc Golf getting the attention it deserves in gaming. Very rewarding unlocking characters, discs, and new courses. The discs feel like they fly true to their flight numbers. And the music is so cozy and soothing. Absolutely worth checking out and excited to see how much polish the creator is going to give it.

Interesting and simple enough to have fun with. Works on Linux so that's a plus. Controls are easy enough to jump right in and start chucking plastic. Nice way to get a round in if you can't get outside.

Overall, fun casual disc golf game. But it does have rough edges. Trees don't appear to affect the disc during flight. It also takes up a hilarious amount of storage space to install. 25gb is a silly ask for this games graphics (I would expect 3-5gb). The game needs more work but I am having fun with what is here so far. I recommend trying it out.

If you like Disc Golf, you're likely to enjoy this game. Received it a few days ago via the developer who nicely provided a key. The gameplay is fairly simple to get the hang off, the flight models are great already, solid early access build! This game has great potential, definitely one to keep your eye on if you enjoy disc golf games.

Very fun game and well worth the small price tag. The controls are different compared to similar games but that is something I definitely like about it. If you like disc golf or just a good relaxing game this is a must have.

It has good bones, once it Irons out some kinks it will be a good way to help scratch the itch, for when the weather does not permit going outside for real.
