Disc Frenzy

Disc Frenzy takes a lot of lessons of approachability, fun maps, customizability, and good multiplayer integration from Walk about mini golf and builds them into the core gameplay of Disc Frenzy. The disc physics feel really well done, although not completely realistic in some cases, but I think once you get used to what the game is doing, it's very fun. It requires some practice and adjustment from regular disc golfing, if you're an enthusiast but you can use proper backhand form and forehand form, and get reasonable results. Some of the quality of life features that are built in, like locking in release nose angle and hyzer/anyhyzer angle make it a lot easier to get the shot you're looking for. Easy recommendation, even my friend who's never played disc golf had a great time in multiplayer, so this is for everyone! Also want to call out the dev, I had a small issue launching the game due to some dependency issues, I hopped on discord and he helped troubleshoot the issue and pushed a hotfix immediately! Awesome!

My VR Group are always looking for fun, casual games to play together. We were playing disc golf in rec room (bad) before we found the demo for this game. We put in hours on the levels available there, and I've been impressed by the feel and controls of playing different disc types and forehand/backhand throws. With the full release, we are a huge fan of being able to lock in an angle for your throw, and the additional levels are awesome to see. One fun suggestion is some sort of 'catch mode' or team play where you alternate throws? Thanks for making this game! We will continue to enjoy it.

Courses are very interesting and the throws feel fair and rewarding. Features like "big basket" are great for noobs like me.

Love playing this game on my Quest2. You can get really good at throwing the disc to make some cool shots!

Throwing frisbees as a floating alien head in VR. I could see this being fun for people who enjoy the sport but the physics were a bit tough to get used to. Throwing things in VR is always a tough mechanic to perfect and in a game based around throwing things you kind of want it to be exact. It was close but I didn't feel entirely in control of where my disc was going to go. I also would have liked to have a few more graphics to use for customization. I recommend this game if you wanna throw frisbees but don't got no stoner friends to throw them out in the yard with.

As someone who recently got into disc golf this games is amazing, the level designs are fun to play on and explore. The physics for the flight on the disc are pretty spot on as I've re-made my actual disc that I own in the game and they fly just about the same. I will say at first it takes a little time playing in VR to adjust, but once you get the hang of it it starts to feel natural, which for me is hitting the closest tree to the starting point. I highly recommend this game who enjoys disc golf and plan on sinking many more hours into it.
