Director of Solar Affairs is a turn-based strategy and simulation game centered on orbital combat, combining space warship design, construction, and solar system exploration.
Beginning in 1935, the game spans several decades of warfare and scientific advancement, telling a space epic written by your own decisions.
In the game, you assume the role of the Director of Solar Affairs, the highest authority of a world power’s space program.
Over decades, you will oversee your nation’s expansion across the solar system—evolving from early 1,000-ton space destroyers armed with conventional cannons, to massive space battleships weighing tens of thousands of tons and equipped with large missiles and railguns, alongside multi-role scientific vessels.
You will personally chart your nation’s path of expansion throughout the solar system.
