Super fun game! I could and probably will totally play for hours! I love how cute all the dinosaurs are and that you can zoom in and watch them. And the meteor is really funny
I think this game could go somewhere with a bit of love but also feel that it has a fair few stumbling points currently. I think the track building is kind of weird, like IE half the fun of a tower defense game is figuring out how to play around a track. But I respect trying something new with the track building. I think the roguelike aspects are a little weird as well, I think if you want roguelike elements that it should influence the towers directly rather than having the option of more track or more terrain. I think the drawings for the towers are cute, the models themselves are alright. The actual coverage of the towers is alright, it covers the BTD6 basics with the only weird one being the raptor for being a druid avatar of wrath path. I think this though is another stumbling block, your towers don't really feel fleshed out. Like you have basic coverage but you don't feel like you can meaningfully change things through upgrades. There are nice bonuses when you finish upgrading a tower but due to not having crosspaths it kind of feels lackluster. I also find it an interesting choice to give every tower the bottom path super monkey reposition. Due to the being dinos and kind of melee oriented it makes sense but I also feel like there should be a better way to engage with it. Due to the speed on the track you really can't micro more than one tower. I think either the speed of the movement should be faster, like it is stampeding over, or it should pause during the movement. There is already a stamina bar so it is already limited in how much you can engage with it. I think the units are interesting, the cricket makes you path in a different way than you otherwise would. The MOAB equivalent on wave 30 should have some indication that it will do more damage, like the tool tip should say how much damage it will do. Overall I think this has promise and is quite ambitious for the sheer amount of interesting mechanics that are being tried. With some more time and polish I think this could turn into something really cool.
I can already tell that I am going to sink an unreal amount of time into this game. One thing I am struggling with is the lore of the game. If you are helping the dinosaurs protect their eggs why would you build a path to let the bugs get to your eggs. Was a 10/10 but lowered to 9.5/10 due to realism.

Manny for the win :)
This is a lot of fun. Once you learn the build sequence to win, they are all the same. There is no need for added trail sections... the buffs do help.
This game is very, very charming, and I adore everyone of these little guys. Specifically Viktor. Look at his smile. I made an army of Viktors and it ALMOST worked. Highlight of my week. Wonderful little game.
