Dino Quake

Best 8 euros I've ever spent. As a huge fan of Comedy Action Games (Bubble Bobble-likes, for those who have never heard the term) this hot the spot in EVERY way. Sweet pixel graphics, catchy chiptunes, and a gameplay loop that balances memorization and luck in the best way. It's fairly short, and I felt confused when I beat the final boss the first time. "THAT'S IT?"... but then, a new dino hatched from an egg, and it all clicked. I'm still trying to unlock every character, and I love how they're the Difficulty Modifiers. It's all just perfect for me. The only negative aspect I could think of is how I wasn't able to get it sooner. Give it a shot, really.

A priceless arcade experience! I love Neutronized's other properties so I figured this one would be more of the same. This game is tough though like how an arcade game is supposed to feel. I felt myself getting better every time I played following the same routes and quaking enemies until I finally finished a session. Please play if you're a true Arcade Game enjoyer.

I liked it a lot! It's short and simple, but that's exactly what I wanted out of this game. It has a very short game loop that's very easy to pick up and play with branching paths - and each different path unlocks you a new character. It took me a few tries - I kept getting to the final boss and dying - but I finally beat it once and will probably keep playing to beat it more. A few things to know before you play: -Take a moment to learn what the power ups do under... I think it's options->help? It's somewhere on the start screen. -Different dinos start with different power ups (the left one starts with a [+] that restores a health every level and the right one starts with a clover that gives you better luck when digging up turnips) My one complaint about the game: -It doesn't seem to save high scores - nor is there a leaderboard

A throwback to a great time in arcade gaming. Loved the pixel art and music. Excellent pick up and play as well. Best experienced with a friend

I liked it. It's a good game to play if you just want something short and sweet. I had a lot of fun replaying the game with every dino while trying to get all of the achievements. It wasn't too hard to get them all, but it also wasn't too easy. The game does have some drawbacks, like how the settings are pretty limiting (No remap controls or music/sfx sliders), or how the player character can feel slow, or how some of the later rooms can feel unfair, the overall package makes up for it. I'm honestly really excited to see what Neutronized does next. 7/10

This game is awesome.. And generally appeals to people who like quite a simple yet fun pixel-type game.. Also i hope next upd has a Deinocherius character :3.

tl;dr - if you love adorable dinosaurs and\or a retro arcade experience pick up Dino Quake, it's great! I still haven't beaten Dino Quake, and with how many times I've played through Parasol Stars in my lifetime this is a testament to how the developers balanced their modern bouncy dinosaur design to be so cutely approachable but still require skill and practice to finish. I'll keep trying to beat it, as I want to see what the unlockable characters are and if they could be -even more adorable-.

Classic arcade vibe + dinosaurs is a win in my book.
