Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Sep 1 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
It really depends on what you expect from this game. DigWorld is not a masterpiece and certainly has some problems/improvements, optimization isn't great, and you might experience drops and stutters. However, as a quick, casual title to turn your brain off for an hour or two, it does the job. If you enjoy simple cozy loops or idle/incremental games, you'll probably have a good time with it, but don't go in expecting a deep, polished experience. It can also be considered a self-improvement project for an indie developer. Compared to many obscure indie titles, it at least has a roadmap, making it an average but decent option for fans of the genre. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7lbkoDSKy1Y
I came for the achievements, stayed for the treasures I'm a bit of an achievement hunter, so DigWorld was right up my alley. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3766467292 This isn't a game that's going to change the gaming world or become the next big thing, but honestly, that's not why I played it. I just had fun digging around, finding treasures, weird little collectibles, and slowly working my way through all the achievements. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3765968805 At first I thought it would be something like Balderdash, where you have to constantly watch out for rocks falling on your head if you make the wrong move. Turns out it's much more laid-back. You just grab your pickaxe, start digging, and see what you can find. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3766467424 If you enjoy collecting everything a game has to offer and want something relaxing to play for a few hours, I'd say DigWorld is worth a look.
Extremely grindy and repetitive. The "gameplay" loop is just tedious. Playing feels like a chore. Even if this game was 1 dollar, it's not worth playing. And I can't even use my mouse to dig?
At 25 hours of playtime upon release of the game, you will get at least 25 hours of play time at minimum. If you're a completionist, think more roughly around 75-80 hours if you big brain it and do what you need to do to complete all achievements. The game has a ton to collect, efficency is huge. It will take 300 trips to fully complete the game, don't use the extra time anymore than necessary in a dig. All items will come in time even at 7 min runs. Get as deep as you can and use your bombs. Utilize emergency depots as needed. Collect all the red blocks you can, going to need them for chips to buy cosmetics. There is a ton to learn and improve gameplay as you go. I could write much more.
One might ask: who is the target audience for this game? Answer: anyone with some degree of autism - so, basically, everyone. But just read the description, and don’t expect Minecraft here.
This game is totally my kind of game. I see that some reviews claim it's too slow or grindy, but I have to disagree. The pacing feels just right. You never get overwhelmed, yet every run gives you meaningful progress. I haven't had a single completed run where I couldn't buy a new upgrade or unlock something new. So I'm honestly not sure what these reviewers mean by "slow progress." As for the other aspects of the game, like the music and the overall atmosphere, they really hit the sweet spot for me. So yeah, I'll definitely keep playing this, and I recommend that anyone who loves digging games does the same!
It's missing something. Not sure what, probably a story and some non-mining stuff like constructing a town or something would be nice. The game was pretty fun for a few hours but there just isn't enough variety in the gameplay loop. You mine blocks, find slot machines, find random chest....and that's it. Also, there is an imbalance with money. It was ok for some time but the value of items as you go deeper falls way behind in the cost of upgrades, forcing you to mine the same zone more and more as you unlock the next zone. Contracts cost a ton of money and the rewards are less than missions for the most part. You also are limited by the number of contracts you can take at once, while you are always working towards all missions. Most of my upgrades for equipment or the mineshaft are $12000+ each. There's 4 different pieces of equipment to upgrade per zone and each zone has 2 mine upgrades. That's $72000 for a single zone. Yet I get about $10000 per run if you count completing missions/contracts. That's 8 runs for the zone I'm in and it is getting exponentially worse at this point. Run value goes up by maybe $500 per zone while each upgrade increases by thousands. For now I can't recommend the game until some more content is added and this money issue is fixed. And if you are a completionist I'm around 60% complete with the collections at this point. So prepare to spend probably 25+ hours.
Game is fine. Fun game to play to kill some time. Random events, prestige, or any roguelike features arent present in this game so if thats what you want this game doesnt have it.
