About
Monsters have returned to our lands! Undead and goblins are trying to destroy us. Stop them before they reach the portal! Place towers that will attack them! Summon soldiers, place barricades to stop them! You can summon a slowing fog that will appear near the towers and slow down the movement of enemies along the roads. For destroyed enemies, rubies are given, which can be spent on building towers. Use magic, which is gradually restored. Enemies come in different types, some are fast, some have a large supply of health. Act carefully and you will win!

вторая часть, для тех, кому первой было мало. в принципе геймплей такой же. только теперь мы защищаем не группу солдат, а Сферу Жизни или Портал. ну и врагов стало по-моему больше
Just like the first Difficult Times game it is a pixel small tower defense, where you need to defend your realm's sphere of life from the waves of evil monsters. As usual you set up traps and barricades, place different tower, cast powerful spells and summon units to stand against hordes of monsters. There are lots of enemies, but resources are limited, so you need to think strategically, where to spend them.

Отличное продолжение динамичной и местами хардкордной игры жанра Tower Defense со своими новыми фишками.
Dev reworked some towers in this chapter. Now you can poison enemies. Magic spells still here so you are free to use it to clear and slow down waves of enemies. Gold obtainging system remains the same: you have to kill enemies.
Overview:
Difficult Times 2 is a sequel with few minor improvements from the first part.
Story/ Plot: N/A
No Plot, simple arcade strategy game.
Gameplay: B-
The gameplay is very simple and doesn't need a tutorial. Once you get the hang of it it's quite easy.
Graphics: D+
Well the graphics are pretty simple, good for a pixel game.
Music: D+
Music was okayish, I couldn't vibe much with it while playing the game.
Replayability/Content: E
Well there are just 10 levels to clear & I don’t see myself or anyone replaying it again.
Performance/Optimization: A
Game ran smoothly with no bugs and doesn’t demand for high spec PCs
Final Thoughts:
Well I wouldn’t recommend this game as the gameplay/music & everything were mid. Purchase this on Sale & play it if you are looking for something to keep you occupied for 1-2hrs.
Overall Tier Rating: C
Эта игра УЖАСНА, текстуры кривые да ещё и за 385р. (мне повезло получить её бесплатно а не тратить на неё 385)
super easy platinum lol
Öncelikle şunu söylemem gerek herhangi bir oyuna ön yargınız varsa şimdi hiç düşünmeden huyunuzu bir kenara bırakıyorsunuz ve bu oyunu indiriyorsunuz çünkü bende ön yargılı davrandım ama gerçekten kodlandığı her satıra değmiş harika bir oyun olmuş emeği geçenlerin hepsine teşekkür ediyorum.
Difficult Times 2 is a straightforward fantasy defense strategy game developed and published by Gamesforgames. Building upon the concepts introduced in the original title, the sequel places players in the role of a commander tasked with protecting a vital portal from relentless waves of enemies. Featuring undead creatures, goblins, and other hostile invaders, the game focuses on tactical preparation, resource management, and battlefield control rather than fast-paced action. Its design embraces simplicity while still offering enough strategic elements to keep players engaged through multiple encounters. The heart of the experience revolves around constructing defensive positions and responding to increasingly dangerous enemy assaults. Hostile forces advance along designated routes, forcing players to carefully decide where towers, barricades, and support units should be deployed. Every battle rewards players with rubies obtained from defeated enemies, and these resources become the key to expanding and upgrading defensive capabilities. This creates a satisfying gameplay cycle where each successful defense contributes to stronger preparations for future waves. Unlike some tower defense games that rely exclusively on passive structures, Difficult Times 2 introduces a blend of active and passive defensive tools. Players can summon soldiers to reinforce vulnerable locations, place barricades to slow advancing enemies, and unleash magical abilities that can dramatically influence the outcome of difficult encounters. The inclusion of special effects such as slowing fog adds another layer of tactical depth, encouraging players to think carefully about positioning and timing. Proper use of these abilities often becomes the difference between holding the line and watching enemies break through defenses. The game's pacing is one of its stronger qualities. Early stages allow players to learn the mechanics at a comfortable rate, while later battles gradually introduce greater pressure as larger groups of enemies appear. Resource spending becomes increasingly important as players must balance immediate needs against long-term survival. Deciding whether to strengthen existing defenses, expand coverage, or save resources for future threats provides a consistent sense of strategic decision-making throughout the campaign. Visually, Difficult Times 2 adopts a functional presentation that prioritizes gameplay readability. Character models, defensive structures, and battlefield layouts are designed to clearly communicate information rather than impress with technical spectacle. While the graphics may not compete with larger-budget strategy games, they serve their purpose effectively by ensuring players can easily track enemy movements and monitor the state of their defenses. The fantasy-inspired environments complement the game's theme and provide a suitable backdrop for the ongoing battles. One of the game's biggest strengths is its accessibility. The mechanics are easy to understand, making it approachable for newcomers to the strategy genre, while still providing enough tactical choices to keep casual fans invested. The combination of towers, soldiers, barricades, and magical powers prevents gameplay from feeling overly repetitive, and the steady progression system offers a satisfying sense of growth as defenses become more elaborate and effective. The game's limitations stem primarily from its relatively modest scope. Players seeking extensive customization options, deep progression systems, or highly complex strategic mechanics may find the experience somewhat limited over longer sessions. The gameplay remains focused on a specific defensive formula, and while that formula is executed competently, it does not introduce many groundbreaking ideas. Nevertheless, the focused design helps the game remain easy to pick up and enjoy without requiring a significant time investment. Overall, Difficult Times 2 succeeds as an accessible and enjoyable fantasy defense game that delivers exactly what it promises. Its blend of tower placement, resource management, magical abilities, and defensive planning creates a consistently engaging gameplay loop. While it may not offer the depth or scale of larger strategy releases, it provides a solid and entertaining experience for players looking for a lighter tactical challenge. Fans of tower defense and casual strategy games will likely appreciate its straightforward approach and rewarding progression. Rating: 6/10
Much like the first Difficult Times game, this is a compact pixel-art tower defense experience where you must protect your realm's sphere of life from relentless waves of evil monsters. You’ll set up traps and barricades, deploy various towers, cast powerful spells, and summon units to fight off the hordes. The game offers plenty of enemy variety, keeping things challenging, but with limited resources, strategic thinking is key to survival. It’s a solid entry in the series for fans of the genre, providing engaging gameplay and tactical depth despite its small scale. Definitely worth a try if you enjoy tower defense games!
