playing this game i learnt you need a lot of arm strength, it was great to be whizzing around the track at high speed in a wheel chair. when i play games i look for something unique and this offers that. not the most visually stunning VR game but dont let that put you off you will soon forget the visuals as you focus on mastering the art of getting round the course as fast as you can to get on the leader board. Its not going to break the bank, Will give you a work out and also an opportunity to experience what its like to be in a wheelchair. Well done the devs

This is the best wheelchair racing game I have played. In case you're wondering, I have played 3 other VR wheelchair games. What I liked most about this game is the ghosts & the tracks. What I liked least about the game was the inconsistent handling (at least on my setup). You push your wheels to go forward or pull to go back. You grab them to brake or just push one to gradually turn or grab one and push the other one to turn sharply and you can also lean to help make those turns. There are currently 11 tracks. They all look and play completely different. Each one has a different challenge that will change up the gameplay. Some have gradual turns, others have sharp turns or obstacles you have to avoid, still other have speed boosts or ramps to jump. Ghosts (of other players who have raced before) will adjust based on your track time. The better you do the more challenging those ghosts will be. However, it seems to always be the right amount of challenge to give you that extra motivation to shave seconds off your time. Unfortunately, at least for me, the handling on the wheels felt inconsistent. At times I would be able to make hairpin turns without any issues. Most of the time though it seemed like it just wasn't responsive enough, like there was a delay in input. This happened on either sharp turns or when I had to brake. The handling seemed to be a bit better when I played standing, but it was never perfect. The other problem is that I never found anyone else online to race against during my limited time playing. I would like to see more tracks. I would like to see more power-ups / power-downs other than the speed boosts or ramps or falling off the edge or just obstacles just in the way. For example, I would love a track where you can stick on the track (gravity on the track itself) so you can go upside down on the track doing a loop de loop. Maybe some missile launchers on the wheelchairs just for complete obliteration of your opponents. [b]Rate 6/10.[/b]

Such a fun game. You think Beat Saber is good exercise Differantly Fast is even better. I love doing back flips and seeing how fast I can go on the tracks.
Many people are looking for a fun, built-for-VR racing game that's doesn't require a wheel. Well here we are. You move the wheelchair just like in real life, and you can grab either wheel while turning to drift around corners. The surfaces matter too(you slip more on grass, etc), so that's why I like to almost call it a wheelchair sim, hah. It ends up being a good workout! I'm into DiRT Rally (off-road racing), and this game gives me the same feeling of adrenaline trying to beat ghost times. There are multiple ghost players on the track with you, and they end up being matched to your skill based off of your best recorded time on that track, so it always feels competitive, even if the players aren't actually there. Since the time I tested it in Alpha the devs have been active and listening to suggestions and they're adding more tracks. PS I received this for free since I was the one of the first users to record ghost times during Alpha testing. I'm not a youtuber or reviewer, etc. Otherwise, I'd be buying it. I think the price is fair for the replayability and potential to add more features during EA.
Differently Fast est un de ces jeux que je n'avais pas vu venir. Et quelle surprise ! Alors on va être honnête, graphiquement c'est pas terrible et il n'y a pas beaucoup d'option pour customiser son fauteuil mais par contre, l'ambiance est belle et bien là ! C'est simple, il faut jouer à ce jeu avec des amis ! On se paye une grosse tranche de rigolade, on s'envoie en l'air avec plaisir sur chacun des circuits. Bref Ce jeu est un ovni, une pépite, un truc qui vous remue le popotin. A tester absolument ! Differently Fast is one of those games I did not see coming. And what a surprise! So I will be honest, graphically it's not great and there is not much option to customize your chair but... The atmosphere is amazing ! It's simple, you have to play this game with friends ! It's a lot of fun, big pleasure to jump in the air on each circuits. In fact, this game is a UFO, a nugget, something that you have to play. Absolutely !
Though the game looks a bit rugged, it has it where it counts. I personally use my desk chair when playing it and it is a trip to play like that, sad but hilarious it does feel like you're in a wheel chair. One of the best VR racing games I have played to date and big bonus for Liv integration!
It's like Mario Kart in a wheelchair, just make sure you learn how to hit the ramps. Getting a good idea of how to control the wheelchair can take some work.
This game is tons of fun ,but even more fun with friends in multiplayer! Take some laps and beat my time on the leaderboard on all the tracks!
Differently Fast is a very exhausting yet fun game. It's pretty hard to go more than a few courses without losing your breath and taking a brake, but getting quicker times is a really gratifying thing to do once you spend the time.
