[h1]*Detective Agency Gray Tie - Collector's Edition* - Kurz, einfach und langweilig![/h1] Für die heutige Zeit ist "Detective Agency Gray Tie" für meinen Geschmack dann doch etwas zu schlicht ausgefallen. Laut Beschreibung ist es der erste Teil einer geplanten Gray-Tie-Serie. Ich persönlich habe jedoch kein Interesse mehr an einem weiteren Teil. Zwar handelt es sich um eine zusammenhängende Geschichte über einen Kunstraub, nicht aber um ein zusammenhängendes Spiel im klassischen Sinne. Heißt, es ist lediglich eine Aneinanderreihung einzelner (voneinander unabhängiger) Wimmelbildszenerien. Diese bestehen meist aus 2 Level an deren Ende jeweils ein Mini-Spiel folgt. Es ist natürlich Geschmackssache, mir gefällt dieser Stil jedoch nicht so wirklich. Positiv ist zwar, dass die Wimmelbilder abwechslungsreich sind, aber sie sind so einfach, dass es auf die Dauer dann doch langweilig wird. Auch die Mini-Spiele sind mehr Schein als Sein, sprich im Schlaf zu lösen. Genauso der überaus einfache Sammelmodus. Dass es noch nicht einmal eine Vertonung gibt, macht das Ganze auch nicht besser. Da die beiden Detektive in der dürftigen Geschichte aber sowieso nicht viel zu sagen haben, ist das auch vollends egal. Beim Anblick auf der Shopseite habe ich einfach so viel mehr erwartet, dass die Enttäuschung nicht lange auf sich warten lies. Für Wimmelbild-Anfänger vielleicht einen Blick wert, zumal sich jede Szene auch beliebig oft wiederholen lässt, Such- und Rätselexperten werden hier jedoch nicht auf ihre Kosten kommen. A very short HOG compared to what we usually get from games like this. Regardless, it does have a story presented as a short snippet between the hidden object scenes. You'll be investigating the theft of an ancient statuette, moving from one scene to another to find evidence of the theft. The hidden objects scene graphics weren't bad, but it felt more like a clutter. In each scene, you are going to have two types of actions, either finding multiple items of the same type, matching two items, creating an action between items, and so on, before you start the classic hidden objects scenes where you have to find the listed items. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3758157121 The puzzles are the most enjoyable, none of them is repeatable, but if you are an avid HOG player, you'll recognize them from other games, and they are all well done. PLAYABILITY This is the first game in the "Gray Tie" series and I must say that it is well done, nice graphics, a fast and smooth game system because the objects to find are clearly visible and easy to eliminate by clicking on them. In some levels you have to sharpen your eyes to find items, while in others you have to place objects in the right place in the scene, and scenes where you won't find words but there will be riddles. The mini-games that alternate between one location and another are fun and easily overcome, you will see that the "Skip" button will not help you. There is no shortage of collectibles in each location there is a raccoon to find, and there are special objects to collect with silhouette reference, you can see them in the Extras well placed on a shelf. Every time you finish a level you will receive stars: Orange star = Full location Blue Star=Extra items all found Yellow star = found the raccoon It is useful to understand if you have skipped something and you can replay it by looking for what you are missing. The music fits the theme of the game. I advise you to complete the game because at the end there is a surprise: Bonus level, bonus puzzle, music player and wallpaper. [h1]OKAY, I'M KINDA DIGGING THIS HOG! [/h1] At first glance, I thought this would be a new HOPA by a new developer. Once I started playing, I realized this was just a HOG, but it is more of a hybrid because it's more than just a HOG... yet not quite a HOPA, from the same developer who created the Big Adventure: Trip To Europe series. It's true, it only takes about 2-3 hours to play the entire game but at $3.99 I think it's totally worth the entertainment! What I like the most is that the HO scenes take place in an entire room versus on a table or shelf in the corner of a room. The story is told via text and there are no voiceovers, but the devs did an excellent job incorporating the "case" before and after each scene without bombarding the player with a ton of dialog boxes on a clickfest that never seems to end. The HO scenes are played in a Relaxed Mode, there are no Timed options as you search for 12-16 Items. The HO's vary with Listed Items, Silhouetted Shapes, Logically Related Pairs, Multiples of the same object, Find & Replace, and even Descriptive Finds where you find things that match a brief description. Some of the objects are well-blended but for the most part, they are easy to spot which isn't necessarily a bad thing, sometimes I want to enjoy the game and just relax. My only complaint is that several scenes had multiples of the listed item, such as a HAT, or KEY RING, and when you click on a large hat in the forefront of the scene you discover it isn't the correct "hat" which drives me nutz! Fortunately, there is no Misclick penalty! Also, they have slightly "off" items such as a "feeder" instead of a birdhouse, or a "wheel" instead of a tire...and I had to google "aerostat" Items in "pink" text are hidden in or behind other objects (a magnifying glass appears over these areas) and items listed in "green" are objects that require a task. Each scene has two Zoom Zones that will appear and disappear as the objects shown on the list are found or added. Each HO scene has a hidden Raccoon (developer's mascot) and a Silhouetted Shape to find for extra points. Once the Silhouetted Shape is located, it can be viewed by clicking the "Extra" tab, oddly, it is considered an Achievement. You will earn a Bronze Star for completing the Hidden Object location, a Silver Star for finding the Silhouetted Shape Extra, and a Gold Star for finding the adorable Raccoon. After each Hidden Object Scene, (some of which have a secondary HO in a different form, immediately afterward) you will play a mini-game, such as Rotating & Placing Fragments of a picture, Finding Matching Pairs of Footprints, Rotating Ring sections, Following a path that lands on each house only once, Swapping & Rotating honeycomb-shaped puzzle pieces, Placing shaped puzzle pieces, and even Spot The Difference scenes. COLLECTOR'S EDITION EXTRAS: 18 Wallpapers, 20 Music Soundtracks, 8 Bonus Levels, 8 Extra Puzzles, a Hidden Raccoon in every HO scene, and a Silhouetted Shape Achievement in every HO scene. 

This is a very short and very easy hidden object game. I finished the game and all the collection edition extra’s in less than 2 and a half hours. The game consists only of easy hidden object puzzles alternated with very easy + quickly to solve mini-games. And instead of a bonus game, you get 8 extra mini-puzzles and hidden object puzzles No adventure gameplay and the story is told by popping up stilled characters with text balloons. There is no voice-over. There is not much of a story and the characters do not have any interesting to say other than lets search this scene. And yes, than you will have your next hidden object puzzle to solve. There are different kind of hidden object puzzles and they are all interactive . List of words, silhouettes and very easy riddles. But it is a pity that these puzzles are not flawless. Sometimes you have to find only 1 items when there are more items in the scene that fits the same description. I also very much dislike the fact that I have to find a lot of weapons like guns, ammunition and assault weapons. What I found positive of this game: - the graphics are nice - all the puzzle you encountered during gameplay are accessible for replay, without having to complete the game first. I which I could choose for neutral instead of yes or no as recommendation. But after reading the steam description of this game, I was expecting so much more, than an almost not existing storyline and bit more challenge of the puzzles or gameplay. And it is a very short game! I do not recommend this game.

Hallo Detektive, kommen sie rein, wir haben einen großen Fall. Sie müssen Objekte suchen die wir vorgeben um die Story voranzutreiben, nicht mehr und nicht weniger. Es ist das perfekte Spiel für ihr Steam Deck. Eine Sprachausgabe und Errungenschaften wären zwar nett, aber der Fall kostet auch nicht wirklich viel, auch ohne Sales. Falls sie eine Lusche in Rätsel lösen sind, ist dies auch kein Problem, diese gestalten sich nicht gerade als schwer. Ansonsten ist es ein nettes 2-3h Ding für zwischendurch. (Auch wenn Sound und Animationen bzw visuelles bisschen umfangreicher sein könnte) Fall gelöst? Cool, auch wenn das Ende etwas unbefriedigend war, bietet es Material für Teil 2. 6.5/10 getragene Sherlock Holmes Mützen

Er hat eine Wertvolle Statue gestohlen und der Besitzer hat uns beauftragt diese zurückzuholen [h1] Gameplay [/h1] Das Gesamte Spiel ist sehr simpel gehalten. Es ist in Level aufgeteilt und in jedem müssen wir eine Hidden Object Szene und meist ein Minispiel/Rätsel lösen. Es gibt verschiedene Arten von Wimmelbildszenen was für Abwechslung sorgt. Sowohl die einzelnen Wimmelbildszenen als auch die Minispiele/Rätsel sind gut gemacht. Natürlich kann man auch jederzeit ein Minispiel/Rätsel überspringen oder einen Tipp in den Wimmelbildern benutzen falls man nicht weiter weiß. Die Story wird nach jedem Level kurz weiter erzählt, ergibt aber oft kaum Sinn. Es gibt hier und da ein paar Übersetzungsfehler aber diese waren nicht weiter schlimm. Musik ist generisch [h1] Achievement Schwierigkeit 2/10 [/h1] Es gibt insgesamt 10 Erfolge. Fun playable hidden object game. The soundtrack is too good for a game like this, seriously.. some tracks belong in an intense movie. They did really good with the audio. The game plays well, no crashing or any major issues. The hidden object aspect of the game is well executed. The puzzles.. they can be hard at times. I didn't really need to use any of the hints, maybe only 1-2 times. The plot though.. I hope you don't play hidden object games for the plot because this story was not good at all. I had fun playing the game, but the story is a snooze fest. The story tastes like Snozzberries! Snooze Fest. Bor-ing! Fun game. I got a good 4 hours out of it.
