Put some flight-assistance item (some as auto-brake and reverse thrust) in trade spot, they are more useful than some fancy weapons.

Le principe me plait bien mais impossible de configurer la manette comme je le souhaite. C'est tout buggé. Désinstallé.
"Destination Sol" is unusual because you can't get any more ethically made games that open source! And this is an open source open world space flight trading/combat arcade game with pixelcrap graphics. It's understandably popular, open source games deserve more recognition. What do you do in the game? It's got a wide array of things you can do, it's no Star Control 2, but it's well fleshed out for an open source project. Trading, exploration, combat, and a great progression system where you can upgrade your ship. I might even go so far as to say if you really wanted to play a pixelcrap mobile app, this is the one to play. Maybe. This is a mobile app... it doesn't matter if this hit Steam Direct before the app stores rubberstamped it, or if it failed to even reach the app stores. This is built for the absolutely lowest of all gaming platforms and must be judged as such... it's not going to give you a cutting edge PC gaming experience. That detail alone is reason enough to reject this from any kind of recommendation to PC gamers. We don't invest thousands into bleeding edge gaming PCs so we can treat them like iPhones and play mobile apps. This features really godawful pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks much worse than most other games because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Games like Terraria and Stardew Valley succeeded despite the bad graphics, not because of them. This game is ancient, it's over 11 years old... it's heavily dated and isn't going to give you a remotely contemporary gaming experience... another reason for gamers to be hesitant about adding this to their libraries. Let's talk about pricing and the actual value this has for gamers. Most "free" games on Steam aren't really free. There's usually some kind of monetisation, from nasty mobile app cash shops, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, to any other number of shady pricing schemes that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming industry, and should be applauded. Of course, just because something is free, doesn't necessarily mean it's valuable, or something you might want to spend your time on. This "free" game won't count toward your game collection count on your profile. With that in mind, is it something you should still download? This is a "maybe" experience... if you have a lot of free time on your hands and nothing else to do, why not? But for the purposes of a review, this isn't something I can say everyone must try. It's not quite there. Valve doesn't give us a "maybe" option in reviews, but if they did, that's what I'd choose for this. We should recognize how great it is whenever developers make their games open source. There's nothing more noble a developer can do.
is cool. worth playing. got stuck in some stuff occasionally tho blegh :p
nice game
Pretty cool top down space shooter with a handful of sandbox-ish elements in play. Very nice value for a F2P game!
Cool game, I'm really surprised. Ship driving is a bit complex at first, but if you like space games, this is a great free to play choice.
