Despair is a project created by first year students at a video game school. This third-person stealth game plunges the player into a mysterious and threatened version of Constantinople, for approximately 30 minutes of intense gameplay.
The Curse of Constantinople A cursed ring, discovered by mistake, has unleashed the ancient demon Ornias. Since then, the city has been plunged into chaos. Every night, this entity prowls, hunting any life forms that dares to venture into the streets.
Emre Tuccar, a determined merchant You incarnate as Emre Tuccar, a father of two kids, returning home after a long journey. But the city he left behind is now a mere shadow of its former self. His only obsession: to find his family no matter the cost.
Gameplay Mechanics
Exploit sound: Use surrounding objects to distract your enemies, but be careful of the noise you make.
Protect yourself with fire: Fire is your only ally for repelling enemies and advancing through the ruins.
Collect runes: Runes makes you temporarily inaudible and facilitates passage.
Ornias the ancient demon: when he awakens, if he sees you, black holes will appear around you and absorb you on contact.
