This game ran awfully on my computer. The graphics sucked and the concepts sucked. Don't buy this game.

For a sub $5 game, this is a fun little desktop wallpaper game to play in the background while queuing for other games or watching shows/videos online. I will say it can be a little janky in places - the fact that you do not have an undo button and are charged $50 to demolish a fence/road tile (and then need to re-plough, and replant grass is annoying). The fences are set pieces but are hard to ensure you are placing them correctly depending on the camera angle you are playing at vs. the icons of the fences themselves. Also I'm not sure what the individual posts are for when you can't place flat pieces in between them or lock them in. I also find that some of the values for the crops and animals are a bit imbalanced. Cows seem to be the early money getter as within only a few minutes, you can earn an $85 profit vs. other animals (e.g. sheep) take ages to grow and then have poor returns comparatively. Same with various vegetables/crops. The cat and dog are cute but the dog just sits there. The cat will chase after the mice but it's hard to keep track of. After a while, with more expansion and animals roaming around my fields, the game started to get a bit laggy - and that was without another game open on steam, just a couple non intensive tabs in Google Chrome. I still say yes to recommending it because it's less than the price of a cafe latte and if you're bored on a rainy Saturday and need a cutesy little distraction, this is it. But I don't know how much replay value I'll have if the game continues to get laggy as my farm keeps expanding.
6️⃣/🔟 - Its a maybe. It is a grind until you have a good setup. Item placement is tedious, harvesting is even worse. If you plow land, it is based on camera rotation. If you place a fence, it is based on the starting camera orientation - why not just have a rotate option like scrolling? If animals escape when you are altering a fence, there is no hope of ever getting them back inside the lots. The wild rabbits have glitched to one square and no longer move around. Cat and dog don't seem to do anything? Overall fun idea that needs some refining.
The game is very fun and allows you to have a farm on your desktop while you are working on homework or reading. My only issue with this game is that it drains the hell out of your computers battery. I have a brand new computer as of a few months and it is a gaming laptop. When I normally have 5 hours of battery life, the game will decrease it down to 1 hour. I do wish that they could find a way to decrease this but other than that, a very good game.
very cute little idle farming game. i really enjoy the graphics, however i do have some things i don't particularly enjoy. - demolishing things costs money, which is very irritating when placing and demolishing fences - SPEAKING OF FENCES -- the thumbnail in the menu and the position of the actual fence when placed are so different and it makes it very annoying to place them, a simple drag and place tool for the fences would be a lot better than the weird system that is there now - the game is also oddly laggy for some reason, it takes up an insane amount of cpu for how small it is, and makes it hard to use as intended, which is as an interactive wallpaper, and so i end up just pulling it up every now and then instead of having it constantly run all in all, its a cute little game, but you get what you pay for. there are some small quality of life things that could be improved (fences *cough cough*) but not the worst thing. i think its fun and a good time waster, and recommend it if that's what you're looking for
