Delivers on every promise it makes. The puzzles where very challenging and take very good advantage of its desktop premise. It also features a very pleasant soundtrack and story that fulfills the overall experience.

Puzzles are really fun to solve, not impossible, or too obscure. Feels satisfying, mystery is worth diving into.

This is one of the finest games I have played. I cannot praise this game enough. As someone that grew up right at the same age group as where Desktop Explorer is set, the incredible amount of detail in the setting is amazing. So far, so good. Next is the story. I don't want to comment on the story too much as it might spoil some things. I will say, its a bit more emotional than I expected. The game admittedly has to start by pulling you by the nose at first, but then it is up to you to read into things. I find the story to be engaging. Edit: After finishing the game, just be prepared. This got serious fast. The puzzles - Oh sweet Jesus these are inventive! I have never thought of using File Explorer in such ways. And they are all so intuitively laid out, I have only gotten stuck once, and its because I couldn't count. If you have ever played a Professor Layton game, but wished it was more of an ARG, these are right up your alley Make sure to change your screensaver to Aurora and triiiiiip ouuuuttttt. I honestly thought Not Clippy was going to be insanely annoying, but he is fun!

The puzzles are super satisfying, the game looks great, and the music is excellent :)

ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS GAME!! Listen, I am not the greatest at figuring out these puzzles but I just could not not finish this game. The story, and the creepiness was perfect.
