Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 11.43/day in the week to Aug 29 → 21.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Honestly was bashing my head against the wall at points with this. First part of the game (what you would think the game is from the storepage) is the cool stuff about moving windows around, figuring out passwords from solving puzzles based in an OS. But then the second part and beyond turns into playing a game inside that OS to solve more conventional puzzles (this is shown only briefly in the trailer but is most of the playtime). Some of these puzzles do not contribute to the story in a meaningful way but take up a significant chunk of playtime (looking at you,
witness statement puzzle
and
decryption puzzle
). I feel like these puzzles, plus a few others break rules of good game design. Worst of all was
the chess puzzle which doesn't follow the rules of chess at all
. I also kinda felt like the story didn't pay off very well:
The story kinda blames the Desktop Explorer app for being an AI doing harm, but lets the dad be free of the guilt when he put the AI there seemingly with intent for it to torment his brother, to the point that by the end of the story you'd be forgiven for thinking the worst thing he did was not approve of his daughter's aspiration to become an artist. It even has a happily ever after ending
.
Solve my puzzles
I would definitely recommend this game. It lasted way longer than I expected and it was actually really fun. It even got me thinking about my own life. It was very engaging and it was very well made. I don't even remember how much it was but it was totally worth it.
Lovely Game. Puzzle design is excellent i never felt too stuck at any point. Really excited for what this studio does in their future as well.
This game was something else. The puzzle really needed some out of the box thinking and felt pretty good to solve after scratching the head for 20 minutes wondering how the puzzle pieces link up together. I really enjoyed what i believe is a custom soundtrack and how reactionary the music felt to your current task/window. The story is something I found myself more immersed in than I thought I'd be as I pictured this being more of a puzzle first, story second game but it feels like the inverse, as if each puzzle was carefully crafted around an image the story was trying to paint. I love games like this where you're using a computer within a computer cause every action feels like it has a real time reaction where most games feel more like you're playing through a story already told, this one the story is being told as you play through. Truly one of my favourite games I've played this year!
super goof!!
As a Windows rat I think this had some clever nostalgic puzzles (although note that it's mostly a linear series of puzzles and not like, a sleuthing game—I feel like the closest comparison to this game is Myst But On The Computer.) I thought the structure was refreshing. The mechanics, art and music are all really great, but the writing was not the best. It announces a couple of different themes (well, exactly three) but doesn't explore them super deeply or tackle them in an interesting way, and they're tied together in an astonishingly tenuous fashion. This is not a deal breaker but it did feel like wasted potential as the credits rolled.
