Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 11.43/day in the week to Aug 29 → 21.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

didnt know what i had to expected here it had some flare of pony island etc. And at the end I must say i like the game alot. Its not stand out for its graphic, lore, gameplay. For me it was the very unique way the dev let you experience a story whitin a story that scratches the surface the right amount you get intressted in but not enough to say everything. Very well done setting and mechnic everyone know until you need to solve puzzles with it. For me an very good puzzle game like obra din & lorelei and the laser eyes. Really hope to see more from you in the future :D
I've been watching this game's development for the last two years after playing their first demo and it has been worth the wait. I just finished the first "user profile" of the game and I'm so hooked they're gonna be calling me Halibut. The way the puzzles keep constantly challenging both your knowledge of nonlinear thinking and your knowledge of how the game's Next OS works kept every puzzle feeling fresh and interesting. Nothing so far has made me think any of the solutions were cheap or using any kind of moon logic. I always had all the tools I needed. The story is also really good so far. It's just finally starting to build up at the time of writing but there's enough hooks going that I'm really excited to see where it goes. Man I really hope it sticks the landing but it's given me no indication that it's gonna cheap out at the end. Even in the brief three hours I've spent with it, I have no trouble giving this game a whole hearted recommendation. If you like horror, puzzles that play with your knowledge of computers, and intriguing stories, you will not go wrong here.

Great game! Fun variety of puzzles and a dark, engaging story.
好!!!
its just so dam good
Great, well paced interface puzzler. It sits somewhere between Her Story, Lorei and the Lazer Eyes and The Roottrees are Dead.
After playing a lot of free demos released for steam next fest, desktop explorer ended up being the only game I've bought, and I'm so happy I found it (or it found me) I loved the demo and I love the game so far. I literally bugged people at work, telling them they should play it. So yeah, I definitely recommend it. I feel that the puzzles are tailored so well, not too easy. Also what I like is that it's not asking you to remember a lot of things at once, you know when you're done with a puzzle. So you don't need to finish the game in one sitting. I usually play for an hour or two daily, so it's important to me that I'm able to get back in the loop easily. One more thing I'd like to add is that I found this game very inspiring, since I also work in the gaming industry, and would love to have a project of my own one day. I know that there's a lot of struggle in the indie development, and I'd love to see this game reach a wider audience. I hope the devs are proud of what they made, it's an amazing game.
