For a game that describes itself as a horror-centric fantasy, this sure was a charming lil adventure. I really enjoyed the story & the lore, and though you can definitely feel that it's an RPGMaker game it's got enough uniqueness going for it to help it feel distinct. I only wish the story was a tad longer - but I guess that's what the multiple endings encourage
I have a couple of hours into this game and wanted to put my initial thoughts down. The pixel graphics are amazing. The combat is simple turn based but actually quite difficult. The premise/story has me hooked. The game drops you into this world and doesn't hold your hand. You find books that give you lore tidbits. I look forward to continuing playing it and seeing where it goes.

Deluge is an absolute banger. Rarely do I sit down to play a game and feel compelled to finish a playthrough in a single sitting, but Deluge is just that good! It's got the old school turn-based RPG goodness but with a fresh delivery that brings a whole new kind of experience to to the genre. Progressing through the game in between the turn-based battles has that original survivor horror feel where you are hunting for key items to get you into new places or get you access to more rooms of areas you've already visited. Mix all of this together with a dreary town environment on the brink of collapse and you have this tightly designed experience that never feels like it's dragging. Not to mention that horror RPGs are few and far between to begin with. I'm happy to say that Deluge is a fantastic addition to the genre and absolutely worth your time if you like RPGs, horror games or both.
This is a fantastic hidden gem of a game with a lot of heart, I highly recommend it if you're a fan of RPG Maker/Wolf style games
pretty awesome
Cool game that I fear I'll never finish because it really sucks at giving you general directions, I'm not asking for it to hold my hand and help me cross the road but when I find the secret boss before finding my way out of the cobwebs area to find some wizard which seems to be mandatory, I think there might be a slight issue with it. Then again, maybe I'm just dumb since apparently more people have managed to finish the game compared to finding Robert. UPDATE: I did manage to finish the game after all. Turns out I missed the sign that gave the solution for carrying forward. I still wish that "Inspect"' was still giving clues past a certain point but at least, I won't have the fact I didn't finish the game on the back of my mind anymore
Very chill exploration-based RPG with simple combat and cool vibes. Lots of secrets and things to find, and multiple endings. Pretty short playthrough, only takes like 4-5 hours, which is good because you'll wanna play more than once. Fun game, recommend.
I just beat Deluge, and wow, what a great experience. I was so blown away by a multitude of things from the character models the sprites yes but really the close-up shots, the small bits of voice acting, the side quests, the music and the battle system. There was so much heart that went into making this and it really really shows. The biggest attraction to this game for anyone reading this and still trying to figure out if this is for them but I was quite surprised to find out you had a choice to play as good or evil. Because of that there's multiple endings as well. I took my time and assumed I did everything and yet I still missed some steps/things. So there's a lot of replayability stuffed into this!!
Good but a little barebones
If you like old school RPG'S or Old school RPG Maker games or legend of zelda or Final Fantasy games you'll like this one I mean you play as undead warrior that respawns what more do you want lol.
