Feels like an episode of the Twilight zone with a decent soundtrack. Its free by the way so its worth a try.

super pretentious but i like it. it makes you think and presents you with hard choices so i would def say its worth trying out if your into ethical dilemas
Deepwell's lo-fi graphics are admittedly a bit crunchy, but the writing in this game is beyond fantastic. There’s a small town in the woods next to a giant mysterious hole, and your job is to talk to the four people (and one robot) who live there. Your goal is ostensibly to figure out what’s at the bottom of the hole, but really this is a game about why we need mystery (and art) in our lives. Each of the characters is essentially an interactive short story, and there are no “wrong” conversation choices. Deepwell is kind of like an anthology that you can dip into for twenty minutes at a time, but I ended up being so fascinated by the overarching narrative that I played the entire game in one sitting. It gives me immense joy to know that something like this exists in the world, and I feel like I’m a better person for having encountered this game. Highly recommended.
it's pretty great
Really touching game, I enjoyed it thoroughly. IMO the game as a whole functions as an examination of the very notion of "mystery", and what it means to us as humans. It's also pretty short, and can be played in an afternoon. To the dev(s): Lovely game, thank you!!! <3
