Very and i meean VEEEERY poor desing on the traks, you cant "race" because the tracks are not compatible with the mechanics of the hover, you can fly out to the sky and remain on a forward course to the void, or hit one of the very very closed U turns and fly out of the track ..... again, and for some reason when you try to lean sideways, the hover first lean to the oposite direction en then go to the direction you want it music and sound effects, dont get me started, a parrot without a pick could do better sounds in few words Good ship - poor movement mechanics cool idea for videogame - lack, if Non tipe of desing crap soundtrack and lack of enviroment hope the devs improves this game on 15000% cause it lacks on work for the moment its really a No go for this game
The game is basic but it's not so bad. The game is faster paced than 80% of car race games I have played. I am aware that the developer is planning some expansions for the game when time permits.
Warning: Asset Flip! Deep Race: Space is a Digital Homicide style asset flip, or what Valve calls a "Fake Game". The "developer" paid for/pirated a few Unity asset store packs, dumped them all in a blender, and submitted it to Valve as if they're real game developers.
Two notable criteria for what makes an asset flip instead of legitimate use of stock assets are whether those assets comprise the majority of the game, and whether the "developer" properly credited the people who created most of the assets in the game. This game fails both of those tests. The "developers" here didn't credit any of the artists and real, actual game developers who created the assets here, so this is plagiarism, as well as cash grab shovelware. In this case, the asset flipper took an Unreal "hover" racing template/tutorial/whatever, slapped some lazy models on it they probably stole from somewhere else, and called it their own game. It has no value or merit as a real game. It doesn't even launch for many gamers, crashing to desktop immediately, but then again this was never really intended to even be a playable game. Tero just wanted a Steam store page to try scam a few more gamers for someone else's game. A serious accusation, but there's proof. Raciebug/Tero Lunkka have shown a repeat pattern of unethically dumping other people's work onto Steam as a cheap, nasty cash grab, through this account or through closely linked/alt accounts. Here's some examples so you can see for yourself:

"Fancy the Frog" = Pixel Adventure 1 developed by Pixel Frog
"Aliens Dont Exist" = Alien Character - Free Sprite developed by Craftpix
"Lawnmower Game: Pinball" = Pinball Construction Kit developed by Epic Games
"Nash Racing" = Advanced Tuning Cars developed by James Novih
"Nash Racing 2" = Advanced Tuning Cars developed by James Novih
"The Warrior Of Treasures" = Dynamic Combat System developed by Grzegorz Szewczyk
"Survival Isolation" = Easy Survival RPG v3 developed by Easy Systems
"Thirsty Bubble" = Low Poly Scenario Pack+POLYGON Knights Pack+Simple Dungeons developed by
Normally I would go deeper into the technical flaws with the game (usually a lot, as is the case with all asset flips), but I can't because the game is broken. However, that should also suffice as a reason for you not to buy it. The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 4 players, and the worst part is these weren't genuine players, these were the Russian fake review accounts that the developer paid to make the fake reviews. Since the fake reviews are all done, now the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 100,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected. It's also important to note the "developer" here has connections to a number of shady Russian asset flippers and review manipulators who show an organised pattern to scam and defraud gamers with fake reviews and asset flipping the work of others for profit. While reviews are about the games, gamers should be informed when developers act unethically. Whether these connections are the same developer using multiple accounts, or just working closely with other unethical developers, gamers should be warned about the harm to gamers by this developer and their associates. Buying games from unethical developers puts your money at risk. You're forced to sign a highly questionable yet legally unenforceable End User License Agreement... for such a relatively low effort, low quality game this comes across more as a delusion of grandeur than anything else. This agreement includes questionable requirements that may attempt to revoke consumer law protections that gamers expect to have, which is also highly problematic. Developers must learn they are here to serve gamers, not control them. I had my cat walk over the keyboard while the EULA was displaying, which fixed that problem for me.
Warning: Review Manipulation!
This game features a small number of fake positive reviews from accounts known to be in the business of review manipulation/paid reviews. They're all written in either Russian or broken English, appear at almost exactly the same time, very shortly after the game launched on Steam, all have a direct Steam purchase of the game, and the accounts are used consistently to write fake reviews for asset flips and other cash grabs/scams. The "Positive" review score on this game should be disregarded due to this blatant, unethical review manipulation. This is done to deceive and scam gamers into paying for a bad product. So, should you buy this game? Is this one of the best of the 100,000+ games on Steam? Deep Race: Space is relatively cheap at $2 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, and the questionable ethical nature of the developer and/or their associates (as outlined above), this is impossible to recommend. Remember that if you buy a game from an unethical developer, you're putting your money at risk.
Profile Features Limited! Valve have marked this game as "Profile Features Limited" at the time of this review. This is usually caused by poor sales figures and low community acceptance for the game (to date). Until this status changes, this game will not give you +1 to your Game Collector badge count, appear in profile achievements or any other Steam meta-accomplishments, nor can it be displayed in some profile showcases. If these factors are important to you, it may be worth holding off before buying this game.
Garbage racing game.
Игра мне не понравилась, т.к. не очень интересно, посидел на ней 5 минут и вот теперь думаю, на что я потратил 60 рублей ?
Hi all! I've bought this game a few hours ago, but I can't stop playing this game! It's really interesting and funny). I recommend all of you to play this game!
Honestly a pretty garbage game. Not the worst racing game I've played on Steam, but pretty bad. i got it to see if it might scratch some of that F-Zero or Wipeout itch for a cheap price. and well once you get the hang of the bad controls, it's way too easy and stupid. there's 2 achievements and they aren't even for real races in the game. since this is a limited profile game, it's not even worth getting it for the easy achievements as they don't' effect your game completion average or total games 100% anyways. can't even showcase the achievements. there's really no point to this game unless you want to pay 99 cents for a lack luster F-zero clone that's way too easy.
Excellent racing, one of the best races in this form, nice picture, convenient gameplay, good music and sounds, convenient control! (the most important thing in such games) I really liked it, for its price it was one of the best games in its genre. Great race in the retro style, I advise everyone)
