DEDALO - Escape Room Adventure

Niemal rok temu zagrałem w Venari, do którego Dedalo jest bardzo podobne ze względu na środowisko i taki surowy klimacik w moim guście. Obie gry reprezentują typ gier tworzonych przez studio M9 Games: Odszukaj wskazówkę, rozwiąż zagadkę, wejdź do kolejnego miejsca - i tak w kółko. Szkoda tylko, że większość podpowiedzi to praktycznie gotowe rozwiązania. Najciekawsze łamigłówki były tam, gdzie sugestie były nieoczywiste i wymagały od gracza kojarzenia faktów. Niestety takich zagadek było niewiele. Pierwsza połowa gry praktycznie nie stanowi wyzwania, potem jest już lepiej - zatrzymałem się dłużej na kilku łamigłówkach albo też przegapiłem podpowiedź. I w sumie to, niska cena (kupiłem za niewiele ponad 5 złociszy) oraz setting przeważyły, że jednak grę polecam. Aczkolwiek w ogólnym rozrachunku Dedalo jest przeciętne. Jakoś lepiej mi się kojarzy Venari. Ponadto gra ma kilka błędów: raz przy przejściu do kolejnego miejsca zniknął obraz - musiałem zminimalizować i wyłączyć grę. Na szczęście gra zapisuje się na początku każdego nowego miejsca (i jest też zapis ręczny), więc po ponownym uruchomieniu kontynuowałem grę. Podobne miejsce było na końcu, gdy rozwiązałem ostatnią banalną zagadkę - zniknął obraz, gra wyłączyła mi monitor (wtf?), konieczny był reset kompa. Osoby szukające wyzwań niech pomijają tę i inne gry studia. Dla osób chcących chillowo porozwiązywać proste łamigłówki ów gry będą w sam raz. Ja tylko sięgam po te w starożytnym, czy pustynno-orientalnym settingu. 5,5/10

Hmm, I've played a few M9 games and they have been fairly straightforward and enjoyable in the casual gaming genre. Find a clue, solve a puzzle and open a door. Fairly relaxing, puzzles solvable from clues in the environment, sometimes requiring a bit of effort, but generally OK and fitting with the style of game. Not this one. Some puzzles have no obvious clues (the mathematical ones can be worked out from some basic knowledge of arithmetic and how numbers factor) or what appear to be obvious clues but don't apply to the puzzle you are solving, or clues which obviously apply to a puzzle but no combination of them will work. Very disappointed.

Dedalo - Escape Room Adventure is another nice escape room game from M9 games. The game has nice 3D environments and immersive soundtrack, making the setting feel alive and mysterious. The puzzles are enjoyable and logical, though some might feel a bit straightforward for experienced escape room enthusiasts. The pacing allows you to explore and figure things out at your own speed, which I appreciated. The voice acting was not always very 'believable'... but that's something they can work on for future games. it’s a solid experience for fans of escape room games and adventure puzzles. Knowing this was created by one person makes it all the more impressive. Definitely worth checking out if you enjoy this genre!

About half way through the game, really loving it! Puzzles range from easy to not so easy but the clues are there. Don't rush and don't overthink. Enjoy the journey :) OK I am done, what a ride. I will be playing it again so I can wander and appreciate the detailed scenery. The soundtrack is relaxing. Yes there are some difficult puzzles. If you get really stuck the developer is great for giving hints - and yes I did need help on one and when it was solved it was so easy, again don't overthink them. Thank you M9 games for another great adventure!

Lovely little game mixture of easy and hard puzzles

FIX YOUR MATH! Some puzzles make no sense or are completely wrong. The first puzzle in the cave when trying to figure out the symbol's values, the math is wrong. 2+2 DOES NOT = 5! EDIT Update: Some of the lighting is too bright and makes it hard to see things. I couldn't see the other half of the note on the ground at the beginning, but figured out the puzzle since there wasn't many combinations. Currently stuck on the Bridge puzzle. I think I understand how to solve it, but having a hard time understanding where one button Starts and Stops. I can't tell if some are 1 button, 2 separate buttons, or not a button at all because the cursor is always red. I'm thinking there's 5 buttons and the puzzle needs 4 correct.

I'm a big fan of M9 Games and was excited when I discovered this one. I don't care to finish it, though. It's a tedious, endless procession of easy to obscure puzzles (some a bit buggy) which do nothing to inspire enough enthusiasm to continue. There aren't any achievements either. Perhaps this is why the game currently has a 75% discount.
