casper is the best
The mixed focus this game demands can be very difficult to deal with if you're used to a forward focus, depending on how your mind is, and I don't like how much foreknowledge it demands - you're better off looking up the arbitrary item spawn points and devising an optimal stage & rank order. That said, once you're playing the game with knowledge, it's one of the best shmups you can play on PC. I think it's a little overlong, and would have been better if there were fewer stages but entirely rank 3 stages. It lacks intensity a little too often when playing at a normal difficulty. That said, the final stage is full intensity, no matter what ranks you pick for the earlier stages. I have to be honest, I played with four rank 2 stages and two rank 3 stages, specifically to avoid suicide bullets. I hope to manage a full rank 3 playthrough at some point. I really have to say, the story presentation is the best I've seen in a Cave shmup. Each character has two unique endings! It really makes you want to keep replaying to see each ending. The game has a very vague story and setup, and feels like you're getting a limited view into a wider world, which I'm a huge fan of. Some of the characters are harder than others. The game has a good scaling difficulty system that goes by both character and which ranks you pick... if you play as Rosa and pick the right ranks, it isn't too hard, but it is hard enough that you'll struggle a little as you learn the game. If you pick Casper, you'll find it a little harder. I like this, because it allows you to step up the difficulty by gradations while still feeling meaningful, and each character having unique endings makes it feel meaningful. A key point about any good shmup is that an earnest player can find a level of difficulty that is good for them, and this game nails it. Maybe I'll come back to this once I'm able to give a better critical analysis. Overall I think this is one of my favourite shmups.
stole and unboxed my dads xbox 360 faceplate cover for this game.
Waifus + bolas rosas + scoring + secretos = obra maestra
My first 1cc Cave Shmup!!!!! .
spooky shooting game good. you can shoot left *or* right. i don't know why they tell you their ages.
Follett and Casper best girls
