This is a simple side-scroller made by one person. It's my first game and I would really appreciate any reviews from you !

Congratulations on posting your first game! I only have a few suggestions that hopefully help you in your game development journey. - Recommend adjusting 2D Box Colliders so that the player character sits square onto platforms and doesnt hover. You can do this with your slider platform as well. - I noticed that the game instructions seem to appear and disappear constantly and its difficult to see them. Would be better to make the game image the background. Maybe this is a sorting layer issue. - Use a new character controller script. The script only recognizes the arrow key movements but most people use WASD. The script you have now only works for W and D. - Consider implimenting a coin pickup sound. This helps with making games feel more satisfying to play. For your next project I would definitely recommend trying something animated. Could be free pixel art assets from the store even. Make them turn when the character moves backwards, create attack and death animations etc... Good effort for a first game man keep it up! I know it aint easy

I will become the deat fighter
I understand that this is your first game. I do, and I'm not gonna be as harsh considering, but, still, I can't recommend this, at all. I feel the least you can do is at least playtest your game at least once or twice before releasing it, so you can take care of the very obvious bugs, but unfortunately it's clear you released it without testing it once, because if you did, you would notice a few very obvious bugs off the bat: - Only the D key works in WASD - The only achievement this game has doesn't work properly - The tutorial messages don't work properly - The collisions are very messy - Very glassy movement (Can be overlooked due to being a new developer) I'm glad you're brave enough to post this on the brutal steam platform, but please, if you're going to ask for reviews, at least fix and polish up the game based on the reviews and comments you get. Otherwise, you aren't going to learn anything.
This game is making vidéo games great again!!!!
Probably one of the best games in the entire universe. Love it!

"Death Fighter" is a garbage 2D retro pixel/minimalist/MS-Paint precision platformer. I think it's a joke? I certainly hope so because anyone sincerely thinking the quality here is good enough for publication might need some help. Anyway, this is bad, really bad. Like all platformers, good and bad, (this is the latter), you jump around, and that's about it. There's some boss fights, but like everything else in this game, they're awful. It's telling that all the positive reviews for this game are joke reviews (this game saved my marriage, cured my cancer etc etc) and are as insincere as the game itself seems to be. Regardless, it's harmful to provide a fake positive review for a game, joke or not, because this misleads gamers... the positive review score on this game should be taken with a grain of salt due to all these insincere joke reviews. This features really godawful, lazy pixelcrap/MS-Paint "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks bad because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Games like Terraria and Stardew Valley succeeded despite the bad graphics, not because of them. This is "free" enough, at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 3 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off.
