"Dear me. I was..."
My heart hurts and I'm in tears, 10/10 Please give me a Hotel Dusk / Last Window remake so I can cry again
this is the best unreal engine game I've ever played
The kind of experience you need every now, and then in order to keep your sanity.
A really short and linear piece of interactive fiction. Amazing artstyle most people would recognize from Hotel Dusk. Good story that deals with grief but in a way that feels optimistic and hopeful. It's really just a simple story about life told with no spoken or written dialogue.
I was crying several times. The art is incredibly beautiful and the story so relatable it was both painful and moving throughout. Only 45 minutes long but there's so much humanity in every moment.
A short autobiography. This could be a neighbor. An acquaintance. Anyone you know. And this game is a simple reminder that they are.
I love the art in this. A very relatable story about going through life yearning for connection and the need to be true to your passions. It reminded me of how important the joy oreation actually is to me. I am someone who used to draw a lot in my youth, but put it aside as I tried to become a serious adult. However, that love for art never left, and quitting it created a big hole in my life that made it difficult to connect with other people. Now that I am drawing again I find it much easier to be true to myself and the people around me. I think this game helped me put that into perspective.
Not much you can say about it, it's just a nice little experience. I really like Taisuke Kanasaki's art, and wanted to give the game another positive review.
