Dead Signal

While I know I'd love the game, considering their WTTG series and how many times I've seen others play through it, unfortunately it runs on my system just like any other Unreal Engine game, absolute ass. The global illumination is the most controversial setting, while also revealing very inconsistent lighting between game rooms and cameras. Even if I set every other setting to low, the GI setting makes the game basically unplayable in different ways. If I set it even to mid, the game lags, a lot. And if I set it to low, which is really just off, the developers unfortunately didn't account for anyone ever playing on that setting because some rooms are just too dark to see anything, and the bathroom camera is literally pitch black, it's impossible to see anything reliably. It turns what's considered an accessibility/graphics setting into a difficulty setting. I'm sorry, but I'm not giving it a positive review, because they didn't even follow through with their own words. The minimum system requirements say it requires a GTX 1000 series, and not only do I satisfy that, but the fact that it still barely runs, nay, walks on a still officially supported hardware is unacceptable in my opinion.

Excellent game that puts a very nice twist on the "I'm On Observation Duty" game loop. Prolly [i]the[/i] most fair Reflect Studios game.

After beating all the modes the game has to offer, I can confidently say that I reccomend Dead Signal to everyone that want to play an Observation Duty style game, with a little bit of difficulty. A little bit is an understatement, as while you watch the cameras a total of 4 KILLERS try to hunt you down. As for each mode: -The Casual Mode is a nice introduction to the game, if you want to learn the mechanics and adapt to the gameplay, but every Welcome to the Game player know that you can't just stop there; -The Normal Mode is an overall balanced experience: the difficulty isn't too high, but sometimes the game just feel unfair. You may find yourself in situasions where the killers just won't leave you alone, preventing you from checking the cameras. All things considered, you should be able to win in 10-20 hours of gameplay; -The Nightmare Mode is where fun and pain mix together to create a chaotic experience. Now there are a total of 5 killers on the loose, and even the elevator is against you. I wouldn't recommend this mode unless you are a die hard fan of the series. But if you manage to win, then you can call yourself a true God Gamer. An important note: as opposed to the previous games, Dead Signal doesn't require an external guide to be completed. Both Wttg2 and Scrutinized make it almost mandatory to use outside sources like the "wttg2 assistant" website to even have a chance at winning. Here, the mechanics are all explained within the game, and you don't even need to rely on sound cues to win (the only exception being Delfalco, but his whistle is very easy to hear even without headphones). Be warned, there are bugs that are still not patched even to this day, so you might end up getting killed by Lucas without any warning, just because the game bugs out... and you have no way to avoid it. But it didn't happen that many times, so I won't stress much about it.

i played only 6h of this game and its really goatest just one thing i have to say pls fix that bug when we look in wall for we can put that box for internet looks like glitch so i hope its will be fixed even second game is coming out !
