Dead Dust

this doesn't feel like a game i should have paid for, being that a lot of free or cheaper games offer a lot more game. It controls similar to enter the gungeon, but worse. The enemies drop weapons, but the double barrel is the only one that's good. Every "run" is the exact same, and just at the point where i was enjoying myself, because yes the game can be fun, it ended. I would say the only actually good parts are the art from the main menu and the OST The worse part is that i got it from a mistery key bundle so i can't refund it

The game is simple and short, its not hard at all. Positives: 1. There are health packs on every level 2. ammo is plentiful 3. pistols are pretty weak but the game intentionally wants you to pick up new weapons 4. the repeater is good but the shotgun is better. ( they look kinda similar ) 5. melee's instakill when thrown with spacebar ( i didnt try controller ) 6. Very easy to earn money 7. the spear is the better melee, becomes impossible to find later on. (maybe intentional?) 8. enemy and level variety is very good 9. dynamite enemies make me laugh but they throw dynamite too slowly. 10. you can beat this game under 2 hours Negatives: 1. the trailer spoils the ending, dont watch the trailer video to the end 2. Repeater and shotgun shoot the same, look similar, but act different. 3. golden repeater is just a one bullet shotgun????? shotgun is better even though its golden?? make it shoot faster? 4. Secret characters are not clear on how to unlock, I didnt think i had to find them on the map. 5. need reward for beating game with each character, why would i try to unlock the secret characters if i dont get anything for beating it? 6, let me pick up bow 7. needs more boss enemy 8. need a buff the machine gun, the golden repeater and minigun. slightly lower shotgun range, i've been sniping with it. 9. cannot skip credits 10. shop sells terrible weapons,

The game is simply not as deep as the trailer tries to portray it. In reality, it's a very simplistic twin-stick shooter, with extremely limited environments, weapons, and enemies. Enemy AI is poor, with them often just beelining straight towards you, firing as fast as their assigned weapon can (enemies have unlimited ammo). Because they have no actual pathfinding, they often get caught on walls or objects. This can sometimes lead to an auto-fail scenario, in which dozens of enemies get caught on the same corner of a room, so you're unable to kill them quickly (your weapons only hurt one enemy at a time), but they can continue to fire dozens of projectiles a second. Often enough to kill you in one volley. Even if those complaints were to be addressed, the pacing of the game is off. Much too slow for the type of game it's trying to be.
