One year in early access... and no evolution at all! Very few cars, no proper force feedback, and a lack of commitment with the ones who bought this game a very long time ago!
There is still a lot to do. In the higher resolutions I have some glitches that make it impossible to play, but maybe it's my laptop or graphics card. It runs smoothly in arcade mode, but looks pretty bad. Something should definitely be done about the graphics options. The handling feels great and the handbrake didn't really exist in “Sega Rally”, what is a great addition. But why these stones on the side of the road and these traps that break the flow of the game? Is that really necessary? And the worst are the annoying crashes. They were absolutely non-existent in “Sega Rally”. It would also be good if you could reset the car. I got stuck at a certain point several times and had to restart the race. On the other hand, I think the techno-rock music is pretty good and captures the mood very well. It's not a bad game, but it's still at an early stage. “Super Retro GP” seems a bit more rounded at the moment. But thumbs up, because I hope that the project will grow.
Not great. I had hoped more updates would improve the dire handling. The trailer looks cleaner and much better lighting than the game itself. A quick glance at the comments section clearly exclaims the current situation. Game was cheap/ish but $17.75 AU will still buy you a much better experience with these types of games. Sorry, but having waited and waited and the fact the sole dev is split between other similar games tells me enough. Pass on these games and look elsewhere. Game uninstalled and hidden. I have my suspicions about this developer and so blocked them. Look elsewhere.
great game brings me back to sega rallys work with fantec csl wheel
The game is not being worked on. It's aweful in this state.
Nice arcade style game with good looking car models. Runs very well on Steamdeck. The courses and environment could use some more detail and better textures. But the racing itself feels very good and natural, decent controls. I'm kinda missing a drift option. And sometimes you can get stuck at a tree or rock which takes way too much time to get away from, I don't know why, that's the only real downside.
