DC's Justice League: Cosmic Chaos

Justice League: Cosmic Chaos is an action-adventure game based on superheroes of DC Comics. The story is really basic: Lucas "Snapper" Carr is elected mayor of his hometown of Happy Harbor, Rhode Island, where his inauguration ceremony gets interrupted when Mr. Mxyzptlk unleashes his magic to summon Starro as he declares himself mayor instead of Carr. Leaving the Justice League to stop Mxyzptlk's machinations before it is too late. The game looks decent; it has a really colorful tune, and all the characters look like they're chibi-inspired. It sounds good. The gameplay is something like Diablo, just less in-depth with RPG elements, and instead of classes, you have characters that each play differently. There is an open-world section where you explore a town that is actually really fun to explore. You can get into some dungeons, some houses, and even more. This game is fine; it is more for young children and gamers who are fans of DC Comics.

Pretty good game, grab it while you can!! Beat em' up with pretty good hero mechanics, It's not Arkham combat but you get plenty of moves and combos to get crowds of enemies. Some items make the combat super easy. I played on the hardest difficulty and it was a challenge before I discovered a very broken item combo, then it was easy. The story is good, nothing groundbreaking but it's intended to be a kids game so it has a lot of humor on it. Plus they got Dana Snyder to play Mxyzptlk. A good bonus from me.

it's cute and light hearted, i think it might be intended to be a "kids" game, or at least its a game kids could probably play. im into Act 2 now, and its all be pretty tame jokes and humor. Batman is fallible and they play it for jokes, and everyone has a friendly tone in their voice all the time, even during fights. These are in no means negative aspects. The humor and accessibility for all ages is done really well, and even though i cant shake that im playing a game with the intended audience of 10 year olds, i am still enjoying the story and the characterizations of the JL... plus they brought back Snapper Car, which is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hilarious.

Eh it's fine but there's a lot of minor annoyances - Costumes don't stay equipped after quitting. Can't interact with chests/buttons while poisoned so you're forced to stand and wait for it to wear off. Fake "open world" where everything is level-gated so you have to play through it linearly. Enemies regen health so if you try and tackle a high level area early it's basically impossible. Upgrades are a major grind and not really worth it. --- It's not a bad game but I wouldn't go out of my way to play it.
