前期玩着还不错,后期的解谜又臭又长,没有乐趣浪费时间,让人没有玩下去的欲望
Very solid game. Wish they didn't use ai for localization. If you can play without throwing money at the company, highly recommend.
很棒的游戏,可惜唯一的不舒服还是因为鲛人村剧情
Ok game, bad politics. This game goes out of its way to demonize activists and environmental advocates. This sucks to see from a game that clearly values marine life. Gameplay wise, its fine. While I understand that this game is meant to be light-hearted, I often find the things this game is asking me to do is boring and tedious. Like, often the force the long, drawn-out puzzle sequences that aren't difficult, but because of the game's mechanics take significantly longer than they have any right to. The game is fine to pick up and play casually, and sometimes it can be funny or surprising, but the ways in which it is frustrating are starting to outweigh the ways in which it is rewarding.
It has a lot of charm, looks great, and the base game is a lot of fun. I'm not going to recommend it however, because after every couple dives a new mechanic is introduced, a new stupid minigame, a farming patch, a fish farm, a stupid tamagotchi, gambling games, even a copy of Balatro added as part of a crossover (nice immersion breaker for you there). Every new smartphone app filled me with dread. Devs have never heard of feature creep. The game should've sticked to diving, sushi, perhaps some collectible sea-life photos, couple underwater events and just have a clean game without too many things.
84 hours later, I think what kept me playing the most was the collection aspect. There is something incredibly satisfying about filling out the entire Marinca, getting everything to three stars, and eventually looking at a screen full of golden cards. At some point I wasn't even playing because the game was difficult anymore — I was just determined to finish the achievements and complete every collection I could. The diving itself is also genuinely good. The oxygen and weight systems constantly force you to decide whether one more fish or one more piece of loot is worth the risk. My longest single dive somehow lasted almost two hours, which probably says enough about how easy it is to get carried away down there. The story isn't anything extraordinary, but it's charming enough, and the pixel art, music, and general atmosphere make the whole game extremely comfortable to play. I also liked how the crossover content was handled. Balatro, DREDGE, and Godzilla all felt like fun additions instead of advertisements awkwardly shoved into the game. The constant introduction of new mechanics never bothered me either; most of them helped keep the game fresh. The only part I really didn't enjoy was the pet-raising minigame. It felt much more tedious than it needed to be. The late game is actually easier than the beginning once you have enough upgrades and money, but by then the challenge isn't really the point anymore. For me, it became a completionist game — and a very satisfying one. A very cozy game that somehow turned me into a marine-life card collector for 84 hours.
I don't want to play balatro. I want to play dave the diver. The minigames and cut scenes were already grating but this is too much. This stuff is *fine* but there needs to be a way to turn it off. I just want to play the game.
Me: I'll just do one quick dive. Game: Here, fight a shark, catch 37 fish, discover an ancient civilization and run a sushi restaurant.
Turning on Dave's 5min before bed is the happiest 5h of my day
Boring. Very boring. My no 1 game (on this platform, Im'a a WOW avid player so I like repetitive task) is FS25 so I know boring, but this is just crap with good marketing! I got the key for like 1£ on extra sites and still want my money back!
