About
A mysterious entity has risen from the shadows, corrupting everything he touches. Multiple timelines and worlds have been taken over, frozen in time. You, a lone microfolk with no name is tasked by Gatekeeper Berry and his legion of Berry the Bears to save the universe. Explore different timelines, empty vending machines and in due time, restore time itself. This won't be an easy task, E.D knows you're out to stop him and has unleashed his army of goons to send you to your grave. Will you be able to put an end to this edgy time lord's reign of terror?
Dave.EXE is a singleplayer comedy horror game inspired by many asymmetrical horror games of recent time. You must explore different timelines, emptying soda machines of their contents and escaping with your life against a randomly selected monster, map and random event.
The Nothingness is your home now. This place is where the Berry the Bears reside, offering quests, opportunities and plenty of clothes to shop for to make your stay more comfortable. Collect coins, scrap and whatever you can find to unlock these cosmetics as well as gadgets and charms to buff up your character. Mix and match different builds to create the perfect playstyle for you!
MANY WORLDS TO EXPLORE - From futuristic cities, to medieval times, to 1980s small town America, there are many different timelines to explore!
CHARACTER CUSTOMIZATION - Collect coins and unlock different cosmetics to customize your little microwave fellow. You can even unlock different skins for the enemies you encounter in the timelines!
ENDLESS GAMEPLAY LOOP - Run, hide and utilize the environment to evade the horrors that stalk you. With many maps to explore, enemies to encounter and random events to spice up every round, you'll find yourself coming back for more!
MANY DIFFERENT PLAYSTYLES - Do you want to equip your character with buffs that grant you SPEED, maybe one for stealthily evading enemies more effectively or even a build that puts you in danger but rewards you with lots of coins for your daredevil nature. With many difficulty modifiers, charms and items to use, you will be able to handle each and every encounter the way you want to!
QUESTS FOR THE ERRAND LOVERS - Take on different quests given to you by the various inhabitants of the Nothingness. There's more to life than just looting old vending machines to save the world. Help a fellow Berry out with their troubles and get some nice rewards to fund your shopaholic tendencies.

The creator of this game is the same guy who made around the clock at bikini bottom btw GOSH this game is good! i love it! its like a mix of Dandy's world and piggy Love the style of the game too. There is SO many maps, and SO many quests to do.... just one question....BRO HOW MANY MONSTERS ARE THERE IN DAVES ARMY?! i went to the skins area, NOT only can u change the skins of the characters u go up against... BUT THERE REFRENCES TOOO, there was like a Spongebob, Finis and Ferb, Mario, Sonic. exe, Mikey mouse, and Minecraft references, hungry catipiller, on a bunch of them, not all of them tho. I actually got jumped by Dave(the evil one) on my third round. This is because i died quickly in the other two due to random events set on by default, which really messed me up ALOT the first three attempts. Bro really tried to merk the good guy before they could understand how anything works...something most bad guys don't do lamo. i did win a few good times tho, and completed a quest from someone on the beach who wanted to starve to death a spider, which im coming to actually two complaints tho, When around the clock at bikini bottom came out, all the instructions on how to beat each monster was given after dying. this game doesn't do that and instead u need to read the library books to figure it out. While thats cool, i think telling us how to beat a bad guy in the death screen would be nice. also the killer is inaccessible to change its skin or read about till u actually encountered it, that would be cool. My last complaint is the spider quest, Or encountering that spider in general....The phone doesn't really.. ring? yeah it does in the top corner, but if ur looking around and all, ur not seeing it till its too late. Also maybe a better idea from which directions hes coming from, cuz omg the amount of GAMBLING i had to do JUST to beat the guy ONCE was insane...unless that's the point of the character's mechanics. i WOULD have complained about the long loading times, but they already addressed this in the loading screens, so that's fine.. i think overall 10/10 game, i can see myself playing this for hours!(at least till when Palworld 1.0 comes out, even then ill come back to this peek game) Keep cooking Dave! cant wait to see what you make next!(and lets hope and pray this game blows up everywhere) Edit: so ive found more problems. Opening loot boxes(storage) requires you to be in a specific spot even if the indicator is showing thatyou can open it from where its saying u can, then cosmetc skins. You can only change the colur of the microwave head, and if ur going for a specific style, the cosmetics colurs can really mess it up, like some of the clothes automatically choose skin colur for you, maybe have it so u can pick your skin cokur and the cosmetics...well...dont?(U less its something like the cat suit) My last complaint are the body looks. In the game on the beach theres a bunch of microfolk with a more feminine build Why cant we have the same build in the game? Just saying! I think thats it, if u dont care much about how u look in game then the game is rlly good.
If you like to play asymmetrical horror games and are looking for a more casual survivor-like experience, look no further than Dave.EXE. Near infinite replayability, tons of enemies, maps, cosmetics, and items to try. Each round feels unique, especially with the new difficulty modifier and charm systems allowing you to greatly customize your experience to your liking. You can either turn on modifiers such as the double trouble and random venders modifier like I do to make rounds more challenging, or disable random events and big bad enemies to enable a more casual and stress free experience. I'm not going to 100% glaze this game and say it's perfect. One of the shortcomings this game has is the slight lack of beginner friendliness. It's entirely possible to get thrown into very difficult and confusing scenarios such as Duality Edge Corruption with Lost One and Chambers, or Auto Big Bad with Thompson and Mr. Tea. Although there are some things that can help such as toggling difficulty settings that disable big bad enemies, random events, and certain complicated enemies from spawning. I believe the current tutorial the game has is fine, but it should be improved on to teach what the game expects from the player, such as knowing when it's a good time to go for a vending machine or how to deal with certain enemy types. (projectiles, stealth enemies, etc.) Another shortcoming is how reliant this game is on audio cues, players who have difficulty hearing may struggle a lot in this game. Especially when dealing with enemies such as Thompson, where getting chased by another enemy can cause the loud chase music to make his audio cues extremely difficult to hear. With this all being said, this game is still in early access and having it be released here on Steam is going to reach a much wider range of players, I'm sure the problems I talked about will likely be solved in the future as this game continues to get updates. Even with these issues, the game is still tons of fun anyways, it's a great escape from the constant stress that is modern asymmetrical games.
is good
The original review did not really fit a typical "Review". I changing it. This game is really fun My friend brick introduced me to it. It's Very addicting. I remember when I was younger, I really liked dave microwave games' creations. I was never able to play them thouugh, I only had an Ipad. Now that I am finally older. I can experience what I had never done b4. Its a beautiful game, truly. Every single thing in this game I cherish. A lot. I remember when I was playing t he ultimate unky challenge. It was scary. I got ganged on, and my friends wire watching. It was scary. I still havent beaten it yet. I'm not good at the game, but it doesnt stop it from being fun. From the nostalgic ride to the scares this game gives, its truly something y ou should not miss. Much love from me, Dave Microwave. Much love,
FINALLY, I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS GAME FOR 6 YEARS. Overall, this game is amazing but if you are a beginner, turn off big bad unless you feel like either challenging yourself, or have prior DBD Experience.
It's a really fun game and its funny and I have been playing it since the patreon days and the new gun item is really fun and i recommend this game to other people. :)
This game is incredibly fun, asymm works very well as a singleplayer game, the load times are lengthy though, but performance is very good despite that, and I hope they add tips for enemies after dying to them rather than having to go to the library and manually find who you just died too.
