best mario kart game in vr. the best of his genre at the moment.
As for VR game, it's a HIGH level game. Rlly well-done one, because many details, moments are paid with attention of devs. Here is the ability to play with friends in lobby up to 8 friends. Isn't is good?! is paid to ONLINE. Thanks for this to devs♥ Here are regular online tournaments, new features - new updates to make our gameplay better. Moreover, here is also offline story mode in |Dash Dash World|, so u will have a good time while playing alone offline, because of many missions, tasks, quests, challenges - u wont feel ourself boring while playing))) Saying the truth, Plot of the race games, especially VR ones, is usually bad, not interesting, but... In this game devs did a good job!!! Dash Dash World - is a worthy competitor for MARIO in VR world. I would never think that somebody will be able to come to MARIO Kart so closely, but DDW - it is so fast-developing game, that i think in the nearest future DDW will overcome Mario Kart. IMHO Huge variety of karts, guns, characters - all this can be found in DDW As for cons, at the start i had a problem with one my controller, but it was my bad and it was fixed by me rapidly. To conclude, there are not so much VR Racing games now. SO, uf u r interested in racing & shooting game - it's surely ur choice. DDW is a rlly cool find, as for me and my friends. We spend in it our winter holidays))
Bought this as many reviews described this as the equivalent of Mario Kart but in VR. They are correct. It's a kart racing game with items/powerups to pick up to use against opposing drivers. Controls are comfortable (using Index controllers) and there are multiple control layouts to choose from if the defaults do not suit you. There are two cons I could say about this game. One is player count. Perhaps I'm unlucky and/or don't attempt matchmaking during busy hours, but I've played a handful of multiplayer games only to join into a full lobby of bots. Though there is an option to check if you wish to specifically wait for a real person to play again, assuming you're OK with a longer queue time. My second con is that there is no Rainbow Road equivalent. There is a more space-theme'd race track, but I want my retinas to burn devs. Give us an RBG race track.
VERY EPIC RACING GAME. HOPEFULLY YOU HAVE FRIENDS WITH VR ITS MARIO KART MAN
"VR Mario Kart" is an accurate assessment, but the surprising part of that is how awesomely the polish also translates! I found plenty of control options for all kinds of play, and that's without even using a racing wheel. I use tilt steering and find it oddly satisfying in VR.
Want to play, but seems there is no support for a t300rs wheel.
No left-handed mode. Forced to grab and shoot with right hand, completely counter-intuitive for a left-handed person, which I am.
Had to get a refund, even though the game started fine and looked fine, the big problem with the in-game hands pointing 45 degrees up from my actual hands was game breaking. This was experienced on my Quest 2 using Occulus' Air link. This happened in both Occulus and Steam VR mode. Since the devs did not respond to my support request in the forums I refunded and may return again if they fix that problem.
I am quite an advanced VR user but I got sick motion in the first minutes. It made for flat screens, not for VR Not to do that: * Loading screen right in 5 sm from eyes, that's hurts * Sun in a face * Strange stuff with FPS, I have RTX 4090 but still there are some delays in drawing, that the reason I got sick eventually Why not for VR: * Totally flat design, tuturial is flat, cart is flat, controls is flat What I liked: * Comics during loading Not recomended
Um ótimo jogo, mas abandonado. Se for comprar, já saiba com antecedência que está abandonado pelos devs, porém não encontrei nenhum bug e parece ter algumas pessoas no multi jogador, então ainda é jogável. É realmente uma pena terem abandonado --- A great game, but abandoned. If you're going to buy it, know in advance that it's been abandoned by the devs, but I haven't found any bugs and there seem to be some people in multiplayer, so it's still playable. It's really a shame they abandoned
