Eine Achterbahnfahrt mit Frust statt Adrenalin Als Fan von actiongeladenen VR-Erlebnissen habe ich mich wirklich auf Darkness Rollercoaster - Ultimate Shooter Edition gefreut. Der Trailer versprach eine wilde Mischung aus Achterbahn-Feeling und Shooter-Action in einer düsteren Welt. Doch leider entpuppt sich das Spiel als technische Achterbahnfahrt – und nicht im positiven Sinne. Das Gute: Fangen wir mit dem Positiven an: Die Grundidee des Spiels hat viel Potenzial. Eine immersive Achterbahnfahrt, kombiniert mit Gegnerwellen, die auf dich zufliegen, während du dich durch eine düstere Welt kämpfst, klingt einfach spaßig. Die Grafik ist stilistisch ansprechend, wenn auch nicht auf AAA-Niveau, und die Soundeffekte tragen gut zur Atmosphäre bei. Das Schlechte: Die Bugs Leider wird das Spielerlebnis massiv von einer Reihe von Bugs getrübt: Tracking-Probleme: Das Tracking der Controller ist inkonsistent, was bei einem Shooter besonders frustrierend ist. Oft trifft man Gegner nicht, obwohl man direkt auf sie zielt. Ladeprobleme: Abstürze und Ladezeiten rauben einem den letzten Nerv. Es ist schwer, in die immersive Welt einzutauchen, wenn das Spiel regelmäßig einfriert. Gameplay-Glitches: Manchmal wird die Achterbahn einfach unsichtbar, oder Gegner bleiben stecken und verhindern das Weiterkommen. Dadurch fühlt sich das Spiel unfertig und chaotisch an. Fazit: Es hätte so gut sein können, aber Darkness Rollercoaster - Ultimate Shooter Edition leidet unter einer miserablen technischen Umsetzung. Die Atmosphäre ist da, und die Idee hat echtes Potenzial, aber das alles wird von den zahlreichen Bugs ruiniert. Wenn die Entwickler ein großes Update liefern, könnte das Spiel wieder interessant werden – bis dahin ist es leider nur etwas für hartgesottene Geduldsfans. Happy to be one of the first buyers of the games that I discovered on Mobile a few years ago! I was waiting for him to see the leap forward on PC and I am not disappointed, more beautiful, more level, more action and fun, Bravo!

In VR I particularly like good coaster rides and also shooters. So with Darkness Rollercoaster you have a combination of both genres. So far have played for several hours, and generally pleased with the quality and value, particularly considering the developers to their credit appear pro-active with quick resolution of an initial problem (blockage on Fantasy track) and promise of more to come. What I like about this game is the variety of environments, the explore ‘no guns’ modes, the random generated tracks, and the overall fun provided. The Adventure tracks is particularly good, the Fantasy not too far behind, the Binary and Space lands providing a different less coaster ride feel. Incidentally thought the Binary City amazing, and would welcome expansion of this element. For the future developers may wish to consider adding further themes along the lines of an undersea dark cavernous track, an Indiana Jones style jewel mine track, or an indoor huge ghost manor (light) horror themed track. The game runs very smooth in VR using my Windows Mixed Reality Samsung Odyssey Plus, with perhaps scope to increase some of the textures in lands to increase the already sound immersive experience. The menus are quirky, but overall quite like them, good fun and adds to the sense of exploration. The sound quality in my view works overall; love the monster noises, and instrumental background music. The overview menu land you can navigate by a combination of triggers on WMR (forward and back) and grip handles (left and right). The developers have made it clear this is a work in progress, which is pleasing to hear. At £7.19 I think this game offers fair value, and have no regrets at all on this small investment. Yes there are VR coasters with more detailed graphics (and quite a few not up to this game) and more effective standalone shooters, but overall this is a fun, quirky, and novel combination of the two genres. A few bugs and observations for consideration by the developers; provided in the spirit of constructiveness for improvements:- The music menu, appears impossible to get out of once in. Some coaster track anomalies particularly in Fantasy Land where tracks overlap or do not align properly. In exploration mode the gaze choice between Adventure and Fantasy appears a bit hit and miss which one you'll end up with. At the end sequence I ended up with an extra weapon, but the prompt for this keeps repeating. This end sequence (without wishing to provide any spoilers), appears scaled too large in VR, and location too high above cart and track. This sequence also alters the look of the menu, but is there anyway to choose to select the original look? Overall very pleased with this purchase, and happy to recommend in its current form. With further improvements as suggested by myself and others could be pitched at £10-£20 market.

Darkness Roller coaster is an incredible game in vr with a perfect immersion i just hear only two brother created this wonder i am quasi fall of my chair my impression and word i can't stop to say every level i discover when i play is wouah i love all in the game , the level design is wonderfull and the vr and the animation of characters and of the bosses are incredible , the giants creatures are amazing and the ghosts and the sound is great too and put us in the heart of the roller coasters it is mainly a roller coaster with shoot using different magics ,with wonderfull special effects more we play, more we unlock magics , we can find during the roller coaster as bonus and it is too possible to use a shield and do an ultmate attack we discover evey roller coaster with great pleasure and the the eyes open and the mouth open on different theme from fantastc to adventure to space and more with a lot of variety of enemies to shoot and in more in the end a boss incredible , sometimes gigantic after have finish the shoot mode of every rolller coaster we unlock an explorer mode without shooting during the roller coaster and too various mini games amazing and captivating and there is number of surprise to disccover and in more one mode create random roller coaster so we can discover new roller coaster every time we play , it is an incredible idea giving to Darkness Roller Coaster a full replayabiity you understand i am totally fan of this game the oculus quest seems has a a little issue about turn in the mode speed ship bonus for instance but in the forum of the game , the creators answer about this so it should be soon fixed iff not all is perfect i have not meet of bugs i love the vr giving us more inccredible experiences every day and Darkness Roller coaster is one of the best with so incredible ideas for exemple i know game with level automatic generator but i had never t seen this system for roller coaster and it is just incredible this random system can too change our wagon i recommand a lot Darkness Roller coaster and to write this review give me the envy to go play

Great games, I liked a lot, the environments and the game modes are varied and the developers seem to be working on a lot of updates and new content!

오락실에서 볼 수 있는 3D 슈팅게임이랑 비슷합니다. 앉아서 할 수 있는 무난한 게임입니다만 멀미는 어느정도 감안하셔야합니다. 인덱스 컨트롤러는 설정이 완벽하지 않아 별도로 세팅을 해주어야 합니다.

Played using Quest 2 via link and thoroughly enjoyed it - lots of variety and really love the experience modes as well. Would especially like to see some more levels featuring the scifi city visuals and would love a circus horror theme. No crashes although I had an initial issue where the triggers on the controllers weren't recognised, but this was fine when I restarted the game. Highly recommended.
