Florida Man gets willingly abducted by crocodile witch with massive rack. Nice story and the girl is very cute. On the darker side, especially since there isn't really a "good" ending. Just a "damn that's kinda messed up" ending and a "damn that's bad" ending. Text box does cover up most of the screen, but you can always look at the CGs you unlocked (there are 3) in the gallery from the main menu. It is short, but it feels like it's exactly the length it needs to be.

The art is very nice and the witch's design is really sexy. The story is well written with dark twists that I did not see coming. A great game for fans of horror.

Being 100% honest I just found the game not expecting much, but I was wrong. In my opinion this game has amazing artwork and a good compelling story.
This thing's got pretty solid writing. Love how it set up and followed through with those red flags, in particular. As for the H? Well, I think I should mention that my favorite thing about it is Cuca's screwed silly faces. Overall, this visual novel connects with me more deeply than I expected.
So... Dark waters: Gino and witch of the black swamp man that is a mouth full is a kinetic novel that goes to very dark places. So you play as the main character Gino who is looking for ghosts in Florida at an abandoned place called blank point. In order to get away from his mundane life to which yeah I get it my man but along the way he meets a swamp witch. So he decides to head to the Hut with her in order to see that magic is real and certainly enough she does prove that's real and decides to stay there for the next seven days. But someone or something is screwing with his mind making him think of things he's never even thought of before. And as he gets closer to the truth you start to wonder is the witch really as malicious then she looks and honestly that's the best part of it it's never really said out loud if she is malicious. It's up to you if you consider her malicious. So the art style It's very soothing and pleasing towards the eye colors are used in correct order and when it goes for more of the intense scene it shows it. Music it works it's totally fine for what it is and when it comes to the intense scene it definitely can't rip you but don't expect a lot of music. And now the sex scene don't expect too much here but what is here is pretty good there are very few CGS three in total. And even then you only get two if you opt for the different choice. And as for the writing it's actually pretty good it's what got me into it and gripped me pretty hard especially with the psychological Horrors to it. And I'm a guy who don't really like horror too much. But overall I do recommend this game you can complete it in about two hours heck even less than that if you're just reading it fast. But as I warned before it's a kinetic novel there are only two choices you can make in a game and they give you different outcomes. And personally the only good ending is ending one two is not going to ending you'll see why. So that's it for me stay tuned for some next reviews so with that being said good night good luck and stay horny people.
Great game! Talk about a running start coming from an indi developer, we need more ppl who make content like this. Story is great, visuals are great, audio track is great, and just a great overall short casual (yet erotic) game (VN). People who come in with inflated expectations are not going to like it. Some quality of life features are missing, but that just leaves improvement for the next release! Looking forward to it!
I got this as part of a bundle, and I don't know if I can recommend buying it standalone. I understand there are people out there who really, really enjoy visual novels. I can't attest to the quality of this one, because I skipped most of it. Despite this, I could still follow what was happening, even though I only stopped to read about one in twenty slides. It could be really well-written, I could just be getting lucky where I stopped skipping, or the writing could be incredibly redundant and borderline pointless: I'll never know. The CG's are good, and I wish there were more of them. For a "visual novel", it's pretty light on the "visual" element; you can count the number of CG's in the game on one hand. Which, y'know, is fine. I get that visual art takes time to make. But so does writing, and the game isn't shy with its words. Even when you skip most of the writing between CG's, it still takes about three minutes before you reach the next one. Just a few extra bits of art would help the pacing tremendously, and it'd give you a better way to indicate important scenes: like retrieving the pie from the oven, Gino finding the rune, or trying the summoning spell, could have some artwork to help set the tone. All said, it's not terrible. There's potential here, but the game is probably done, so we'll never see it actualized. Dark Waters isn't something I would buy on its own. There really is too much text for too little substance, and it kinda reminds me of bodice rippers in a way. You know: those cheap romance novels you see in stores for like $3.00 US, and spend most of their read-time teasing you for the one or two smut scenes. I guess if you're into those, you won't mind this.
(My first review's post seems to have not gone through, or was removed) This game was given to me free for review. A visual novel eroge which has a strong story. From the get-go, I think the game would have been worth the asking price for me. This may not be a big budget game (it's not going to dethrone Saya), but it also isn't trying to be the biggest game in town, with a modest playtime of under 5 hours (I had to pause the game to take care of something, and my runtime is still only a few hours), the time is well spent on the unique story. It doesn't overstay it's welcome, and leaves you wanting just a hint more lore: like most good stories do. The adult-scenes are dreamlike, and various parts of the story sow doubt on what is real and what is a dream. After getting both endings, you can decide for yourself if she is good witch or a bad witch for yourself.
