About
Dark Sea is a spooky adventure story game where you pilot an old rusty soviet research submarine known as P27 in search of the missing research team from the ODISEA Group.
You play as Mr. Sidorov, a mechanic working for the secretive Soviet research group known as O.D.I.S.EA. You know little about the organization—only that your job is to maintain personal, one-man submarines used by the primary research team to explore deep fissures in the sea floor, known as Fractures.
After the detonation of the Tsar Bomba, a new Fracture—designated Fracture 17—opened in the nearby Kara Sea. Now, you've been called upon to pilot an old prototype submarine in search of the missing research team that vanished into Fracture 17 and lost all contact.
Dive deep beneath the Earths surface in search of your missing research team. Uncover the secrets of what they were searching for, and why they vanished. "Seek not, that which you do not wish to behold."

Reminds me of that game with the blood sub, where you had to take pictures. This is like that but actually a game. Took me some time to understand the instructions because i might have undiagnozed autism.
✅
A nifty little game, about 4 hours of content to maybe 6 if you linger about to find spots of intrigue. Liked how interactive the various systems in thew sub where, though wished there was a few extra, for the low price, i felt like it provided enough. But, i did encounter some crashes when messing around with shooting out an absurd amount of flares at once, and with trying to leave a trail of beacons to follow back, easy enoguh to avoid by just clearing beacons for each area, and not spamming flares whilst docked. The ending i found was alright, though there might be an alternative one to discover, really wished i'd seen more than the 2 or 3 spooky things on my screens though, but adored the camera's in general being a live feed for once. pluss, the sub control felt pretty smooth and nice too, specially the docking. ^.=.^
The soviet steal brings me peace of mind that I wont implode.
Do you like feeling claustrophobic? Do you enjoy the creaking of your only shelter fathoms deep in oceans? Do you just wanna enjoy music in the dark? Look No Further; Dark Sea. Between navigating the endless darkness and my own mind making every shadow and noise a monster, I've had a lot of thinking to do and I've come to a conclusion. I will be staying topside for the rest of my life.
Started game, briefly read manual, died of asphyxiation. Started game again, read manual extensive. Died laughing and relishing at the fact that this submersible is not only using a diesel engine actively but also it is the stalinium made V-2. Now more seriously its a great game for a respectable price, the mechanics of the sub are nice, it controls like a metal tube in water and the atmosphere is sweet. ALSO THE COUNCIL HAS DECIDED THE SQUEEZE FOR ALL!!!!
Love it.
While clearly similar to Iron Lung, Dark Sea is extremely under appreciated. Anyone who enjoyed Dark Lung owes it to themselves to play Dark Sea. It's 4 times as long, has some actual puzzle elements, and is a much more immersive experience overall. For its current price, there is truly no reason not to give this experience a try.
yikes, do not buy I got ripped off.. this is so bad $7
