Dark Ride Simulator von Blue Squid Interactive, ist ein kurzer Achterbahnsimulator. Was soll ich sagen, wir fahren durch die Anlage und blitzen mit unser Taschenlampe mechanische Monster bis der Wagen stehen bleibt. Doch keine Sorge, im Hintergrund hören wir Techniker kommen. Und dann drehen wir uns wieder nach vorn ... Die Geräusche sind die einer Geisterbahn üblich. What can I say, we ride through the ride and flash our flashlight at mechanical monsters until the car stops. But don't worry, we can hear technicians coming in the background. And then we turn back to the front ... That's it. The graphics are not exceptional, but the monsters look quite funny. The sounds are typical of a ghost train. Dark Ride Simulator is a free to play VR game, where you take a quick ride into the dark. It worked on my Index and HTC Vive system, looked ok, played ok, sounded ok. Quick five minute ride. Has jumpscares. Very dark. Maybe try this game for free, for the scare of it.

最初に遊園地の乗り物に乗ることになる 警察無線でライトを当てると云々って事を言っているので乗り物についてるライトを手に持ち モンスターがいる森をライドで抜けていくことに モンスターはライトを当てると引っ込んでいくので あ、こういうゲームね! 某海底◯◯マイルをゲームにした感じか!と思ったのも束の間....といった雰囲気のゲーム ゲームとしてはボリュームはかなり少ないが VRを用いた恐怖体験としてはかなり良いものだと思う 本当に乗っているかの様な雰囲気の音響 いかにも　な感じの丸見えの緊急避難口 やる気のなさそうな場末の遊園地の係員 引っ込んだのに引っ込みきれてなかったり　丸見えのモンスターの模型 個人的にはブッ刺さったので是非続きが欲しいところ 無料だし初めてVRやる人とかにやらせるにはめっちゃ良いゲームだと思います

"Dark Ride Simulator" is a lame VR tech demo about a fictional ride on a fictional theme part resulting in a fictional game with a fictional level of quality. We all know the old saying, if the only good thing about a game is VR, that just means VR is cool, and not the game. There's no real depth or interest here, the low quality presentation will be offputting... it's no wonder this flopped hard. This features a fairly low quality, sometimes low poly 3D visuals (sometimes not... mismatched assets look worse than the sum of their parts) which will deter a lot of gamers, understandably. Gaming is a visual medium, and it's clear the developers behind this don't understand that. Not every "free" game really is. There's often MTX, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of things that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming industry, and should be applauded. Of course, just because something is free, doesn't necessarily mean it's valuable. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 3 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, that's nothing.
