Dancing Pandas is a game that i already played in the beta test version before the game came to Steam. By just looking at the improvements from the test version and comparing it to the present state of the game, a lot of things have been improved to polish the gaming experience and lots of bug fixing has been done which shows that the Developer / Developers actually actively improves the game and keeps on adding new features to the game. And if you notice a bug its easy to get in touch with the developers, since their Discord server is presented to you already in the menu! This game is for all ages and even for an adult like me, it creates a very relaxing and intriguing gameplay. The graphics are very nice and the atmosphere in the games different areas truly has life to it.
Below is my previous recommendation. I will say now, that the game has more content and the devs are very interactive with fixing bugs, very open to new ideas and quite fast at implementation. It's not often you get such an enthusiastic and open development team for a game. There is a big content update on the way which I am looking forward to and already many of the issues I have mentioned have been addressed. I recommend this game at this point if you are someone who wants to help the games direction and development rather than someone who wants a full polished experience. I really want to say recommended but honestly, I can't at this point in time. ( A dev has been in contact and more fixes and changes are in the works for most of the issues mentioned). It's the demo with some but not all bug fixes, no object transparency (they must expect you to press v to change camera angles every time you go past or under a tree) and some positioning difficulties and nothing to let you know you completed the pick axe side quest. I bought it expecting more content. Very disappointing. Without finishing up winter island at the very least it shouldn't have been released as early access. (Apparently there is more content, the npc to continue is at this moment bugged) I had to start a second game when the first game refused to allow me to travel back to autumn island or on to winter Island. I had to restart my game to make assets work. The second game allowed me access to winter island and to return to autumn island. So I guess it's an intermittent bug I am sure will be fixed soon. Otherwise, it has nice graphics. It is easy to play and relaxing. There's no combat. It's wasd and space bar to jump. Just the way my aging muscle memory likes and appreciates it, I enjoyed putting fish back in the river (as opposed to catching them) and turning hedgehogs right side up. The story is interesting so far. There really isn't much more that can be said about it. I'll wait a while and revise my review after bug fixes and content release.
Just an incredible game. A little bit of bugs. A relaxing game. I really recommend buying it!
Hauska panda peli, jossa ratkotaan pulmia ja matkustetaan laivalla. Viimeisin päivitys toi mukanaan parannusta grafiikkaan ja tuntui myös hieman toimivan sujuvammin, Odotan innolla mitä kaikkea kivaa tulee lisää!
