The trailer shows much potential but WOW I have not had a game make me this dizzy and nauseated within the opening 5 minutes. The horrible framerate and choppiness of the trailer is exactly how it looks and feels in the game. The frame rate is horrendous and everything is blurry and slow even on a 4080. Shocked no other review mentioned this. Do NOT play this until this is fixed people. I couldnt last 25 mins which is a shame because I was very curious. I would like to come back and properly try this once the frame rate issues are fixed. Not even any video settings to mess with.
Damn; it won't open!

This game is good. It has the potential to be even better, but it has a few Minor bugs one is you only can find four or seven items to restore memory two The map glitches out I glitched at the stairwell with the writing. Find me on the door could not move at a Quit the game The other spot I was in the room by the back cupboards and I fell through the map. Overall, I like the game I like to see it progress. I think it has potential to be really good.
When I saw this game, I thought it didn't look all that bad. The lighting is nice, it has cutscenes and even decent voice acting, but once the game started, then it was clear this game is not very good. There's objects that are not very visible to the player that are easy to miss, there's voice lines that play repeatedly when it isn't necessary, there's sound effects sourced from other media and it's very noticeable, props will just disappear out of no where, and more issues. I feel like this game does have potential but it just isn't good.
"Damn, it won't open..." - a mantra that lives on in my head after almost an hour of riveting gameplay. When you play D.N.A. for the first time, be prepared to dive into an emotional story of a woman who doesn't know how to open a door. The atmosphere will give you chills as you traverse through a labyrinth of copy and pasted assets in a motion blurred mess of a hospital. Subtle plot clues lead you to believe there will be a story about the danger of road accidents, however, the real accident is getting involved with this game in the first place. Starting the game, you are greeted by our main character (redacted). She is loud, ear piercingly loud. In fact, every sound effect in the game almost blew out my headphones. This is the first problem with the game (and it won't be the last). Upon opening the menu, I first notice that the audio and gameplay does not actually pause and lowering the volume on the SFX and dialogue does not substantially reduce the volume of either. Turning the sliders to 0 allows both sound types to continue playing. This wouldn't be a problem if the game didn't pelt you with screaming, metal pipe dropping sounds, and screeching over the low tone buzz of a thousand sacecas in the moody, florescent lighting that populates this hellscape of a game. Since you are waking up in a hospital, disoriented by unfamiliar surroundings, your character has trouble seeing (however you can crouch, jump, and run faster than The Flash). There is no option to turn off the motion blur and the pain meds you pick up (again, playing the loudest sound you could imagine) are not intractable in the inventory. The motion blur is so invasive that you have to plan all of your movements around it. Just to preface, I don't have the newest PC, but I can run most games I play with ultra settings and process renders with relative ease. This game runs like a geriatric turtle in a wheelchair. If you are not being thrashed by the motion blur, you are being lagged out of existence by poor optimization. It is like the game equivalent of dial up internet, you can either walk 5 feet or you can listen to a sound effect. There is no doing both at once. Before I delve into the next horseman, I'd like to compliment the games high quality textures and reflections. They are actually really aesthetically pleasing and on par with something you would see in a modern 3D videogame. The character model, however, is constantly clipping in and out of view since the camera is placed on the character rigs forehead. If you are curious what the outside of your own eyelids look like without looking in the mirror, look no further than D.N.A. This clipping problem is not only a visual issue, but a fundamental, gamebreaking, boundry breaking glitchfest. For example, on my first attempt to play this game, an audio queue indicated there was a door opening at the end of the corridor. I spent about 15 minutes examining every door. This resulted in my character yelling that the doors were locked for every single door. I then walked back to the hallway beside the starting room and was somehow clipped out of the map and fell out of the game boundary. There is no way to respawn without closing and reopening the game, sitting through the opening cutscene of your character having a schizophrenic breakdown, and following the vague clues that barely help you to find where to go next (which should not be a problem in a small hallway). On my second attempt, the same thing happened but in the corner of the spawn room. It is also worth mentioning that on my second playthrough, the following did not work: my inventroy, the memories, any interaction that required picking up an item. This games saving grace is the beautifully arranged piano piece in the main menu (seriously, it is fantastic and whoever arranged it did an excellent job!). All together, this game has great potential, it really seems like the narrative of safe driving awareness could be powerful, but the execution is just not there yet. I wish I could've played this game in a better state, but at the moment, this game is untested and just feels quite embarrassing from a mechanics and sound design perspective. Even for a free game, this really needed work before allowing critique in a public manner. I hope this doesn't discourage the devs from continuing to work on the game or create, but this game should stand as an important lesson for when to ship a game so it gets the recognition and reception its fully realized final version deserves. There is great potential, but its just not there yet. Please give it a shot if you haven't tried it. It might be cumbersome and unplayable in full, but I believe letting developers know the issues with their games can help them to grow so they can make better products.
"D.N.A - Do Not Answer, oyuncuların ürkütücü, terk edilmiş bir hastanede gezindiği, ipuçlarını ortaya çıkardığı, sınırlı ışık kaynaklarını yönettiği ve karanlık bir varlıkla yüzleştiği birinci şahıs, hikaye odaklı bir korku oyunudur. Birden fazla son, gerçekçi grafikler ve sürükleyici ses içerir tasarım sahip eşsiz bir eser. Çok mu abarttım ? :)
Do Not Answer...more like Do Not Revive. I think this game has huge potential and the graphics are great but it is SO bugged right now. The frame drops, the running animation. Not to mention the fact that I couldn't even finish the game because I couldn't figure out how to proceed. Instructions unclear. With a lot of bug fixes and better direction, this wouldn't be that bad. But right now I do not recommend spending even your time downloading this game. There are far better, free indie horror games out there. Pros - Excellent graphics - Hint of a storyline - Definitely shows potential Cons - SO MANY BUGS - Jank - Unclear instructions leading to softlocks Overall Rating: 3.5/10 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8XHlRIbtKl0
Extremely bad optimized game. It eats fps and you are often stuck on 25 fps. You can walk through walls and you have to redo scenes multiple times because the game doesn’t continue as it should. The volume is horrible. It was also hard to find the polaroid pictures, you had to look for them over and over again until they spawn in correct order. I also ended up carrying 9 out of 7 pictures. Great story and gameplay though. cant get the last achivement.
This game is so bad that calling it terrible would be a compliment.
drope frame like crazy
