Before I played CyberOps Prologue, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
This is a cool game being a tactical operator support for a tactical team, although i have a few issues regarding the gameplay, first we don't have the ability to setup our own waypoints anywhere on the map to creatively approach an objective or take down enemies or threats, this present a problem for me during gameplay, second, the abilities of the tac team is too limited and seems unable to cover their own flanks during combat, perhaps the ai should be programmed with default tactical formations and tactics that ensures their survivability, having silencers, smoke grenades, frag grenades, sc gas grenades and flash bangs to create diversions should make a perfect addition , also the abilitu to heal wounded team mates is also a plus. Well i would recommend this game though, and hoping that the dev would keep on improving the game to make our experience better.
Graphic shimmering / shaking effect I find it unbearable. Doesn't look like you can disable it in the settings? Plus, I didn't find the hacking engaging at all. Also, the tutorial was not very easy to follow. It seemed to disappear at the end of the first floor, but then reappeared on the second floor. Then disappeared again, which led me to run directly into cameras and enemies. My first look playthrough in review comments section below:
Got my chance to play this today, I've looked at walkthroughs and reviews without getting spoiled too much. I'm still seeping through the tutorial part so baring in mind I'm still at the beginning, so this impression are just my initial thoughts: Solid voice acting, great music, aesthetic and visuals, cool story as well. It's helped given me some ideas and prompts as I'm looking to write stories myself. Will decide later on if I want to get the main game once I finish the prologue. A few downsides here; the tutorial can be a bit challenging somehow, a bit confusing with some bugs even if the game is sorta finished, but could do some minor updates as well--which brings us to the language menu, as most of these are not my languages/tongues, I had to use Google translate for the Portuguese part while trying to listen to the convo the team and characters have, I'm hoping there's a fix for it. Not the best, not extremely bad either, gameplay is slightly meddling but I can see where it's coming from, 7.3/10. If you like sci fi, cyberpunk, tactical-action-y stuff etc, could be great for you.
Bardzo ciekawy system i interfejs, aczkolwiek fajnie byłoby zobaczyć język polski.
Good game, need player's tactics in the mind. You work as an operator to hack and assist to accomplish in missions. Sooo I'll be glad if it updated asap ps. more languages plz
"Cyber Ops Prologue" is not a game. It's an advertisement for a product called "Cyber Ops". Cyber Ops is a rather low effort tactical strategy game about arrows. My full review is here: https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198030784015/recommended/863460 But this isn't completely relevant because this is not Cyber Ops, it's just an advertisment for it, so it's not correct to try to review that completely distinct product. We must instead review this for what it is... an advertisement. If you enjoy advertisements, you can consume them for free on the web or on Youtube without needing to add them to your game library, download them, and then launch the advertising. It's impossible in a general sense to recommend people should do that over playing real, full games on Steam, and that applies here with "Cyber Ops Prologue" too. The purpose of this advertisement is to get you to shell out a whopping $15 USD on buying Cyber Ops, and I don't recommend you do that either. This is only free in the same way that adverts on Youtube and banner ads in your browser are. This is a game demo that's been dumped on Steam to advertise another Steam store page in the hopes of raking in some cash. Just because advertisements are free, doesn't mean they're worth your time. It's important to understand there's a formal process to create a demo/page for a game which hasn't been followed here: https://partner.steamgames.com/doc/store/application/demos While it might seem like an inocuous mistake, publishing demos and advertisements as if they are full games is misleading and in some ways harmful. This advertisement is taking up marketing space and visibility that would be better made available to a developer that's done the right thing and created a full game. Instead, that visibility is given over to a demo/advert that's been published incorrectly and is polluting the marketplace. It's unclear if this mistake was made through incompetence or a deliberate intent to mislead gamers. Often developers may choose to incorrectly publish demo/advertisements as separate games as a cheap way to bypass paying Valve for marketing presence on the Steam front page, which may seem clever to them, but it's harmful behaviour and it's not good for gamers. Despite having no up-front cost, this failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 15 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Advertisements and incorrectly published demos don't add +1 to your game collector count, they aren't full games. It's impossible for me to recommend this incorrectly published advertising spam to gamers, you deserve better than adverts.
