Cybarian: The Time Travelling Warrior

Nice game setting and idea killed by bad control and stupid one button reaction of gamechar. You can do only one action - run, jump or beat. You can't run and beat, or jump and beat. You can't block enemy's attack. Control has great input lag. So when you beat enemy, you can't jump or run from him and get damage after every attack. So only way to win is hit enemy from his back - it's not barbarian style.

Old-school hardcore without further ado An old-school action game that immediately makes it clear what it wants from you. Jumps, punches, enemies, boss fights, and no attempt to seem like anything more than it is. A pure arcade formula from the past. It plays briskly, sometimes tough, but fair. A bit of platformer, a bit of beat'em up, a normal pace and the feeling that every miss is your mistake. An excellent option for those who miss simple and challenging 2D games.
