Cyanide & Happiness - Freakpocalypse (Episode 1)

Sometimes I feel like a motherless child!

I haven't played it in a while. But I recall it being quite fun, similar to the South Park games. Several secrets relating to some of the earlier episodes, and an interesting story (or beginning to a story). However, it appears the company that makes Cyanide and Happiness (Explosm) has abandoned the game. The creators have failed to acknowledge it's existence. I would recommend playing if it ever goes on sale (which is unlikely), but as it stands, the beginning of a game is not worth the price you pay.

listen i was super excited for this game as a cyanide & happiness long time fan... i preordered and everything to get this game. i might of even paid to get in the credits (this was a long ways back now) well i played the game day one and was immediately bored and gave up. just yesterday picked it back up. i thought well i never even made it to the freakpocalypse maybe it gets good around there... well after beating the game you never make it it ends as the freakpocalypse starts, the game doesnt have that comedy the comics do or at least i didnt laugh much, and i guess the second game may never come or if it does anyone who liked the first one have waited way too long. i unfortunately didnt like this game its all fetch quests and lets be honest nobody wants to be the loser freak of the story. where is the crazy off the cuff comedy ive come to love from cyanide & happiness?

Keep in mind this is only episode 1 and you aren't getting anything more. The game goes up until the Freakpocalypse begins so consider this the first act / cold open of the game where you are introduced to the world of Cyanide and Happiness. Personally I love the humor of C&H and it does stick with me but I can understand why some jokes just don't land with everyone as some don't land with me or are references to the digital shorts online. This really is a "for the fans" type of game so if you are a die hard fan of C&H I would pick it up but understand episode 2 has been in a state of limbo for years now so don't get too invested and just have fun exploring the world of C&H as the loser character the game makes you play as.

The game itself is great, but the lack of updates on future installments in this episodic series is rather frustrating, on the bright side, it takes 3 hours at most to complete all 55 achievements.

This game was life changing, before i was an absolute chud. No wife, women, or hoes. I could only dream of a women, man, and even a homeless person's touch. After playing this beautiful experience, i had infinite hoes. I now live in bali with one thousand wives, and as many homeless people that can fit in my home. bdsm. tysm ty xd lol lmao lmfao rofl :) lmbo lmfbo frick yeah HECKS yes UwO OwU OwO UwU uWu oWo bdsm. spoit lover.

In its state currently I can't recommend this game. The set backs for the project far out way what little you'd gain. Episode on itself costs $20, and they said each installment wouldn't be included. I think it's going to be a very long time till this project, (if it even gets passed episode 2) gets completed. If they took nearly 4 years to tell us "it was money troubles", who knows what else is going to pop up that stops them.
