Suika: but it's (tastefully) bouncy in two ways! 🍈👙✨ Cute Suika: Big Watermelon is the SFW version of Horny Suika: Wet Watermelon. If you're looking to play one-handed, that's the version you want, not this one. You can also play the SFW version on Wet Watermelon, so this version is a little obsolete other than the inclusion of different VTubers being optional skins for the "watermelon" (Sayu Sincronisity! 🔩). As a Suika-like, Cute Suika is fun and enjoyable to play with a variety of extra mechanics that freshen up the usual drop-and-combine gameplay. There are 3 items to use in gameplay: the "vibration" item that shakes/jostles the box around which can help make merges, the "grabber" which allows you to grab any orb and re-drop it where you'd like, and the "hammer" item which can remove any orb except the watermelon. With these it's possible to reach higher scores than other versions of Suika. There are also two other game modes: Speed Mode, which forces drops, and Waifu Challenge mode which has mystery drops and junk orbs to complicate things. I didn't play much of either of these, and they aren't necessary for 100% achievement completion. There is also a leaderboard, so you can see how you've fared against the other Cute Suika players! (as of writing this review I am ranked #19 overall) The Suika gameplay is otherwise straightforward and enjoyable: there is quite a bit of bounce to the orbs (both visually and in their physics) compared to other games, and the hit-boxes aren't perfect orbs like in other games, but more oval shaped, so plan your drops accordingly. The orbs also twitch/shudder a lot, but this has no impact on gameplay. It's a visual stylistic choice, and probably for our enjoyment??? (lol) There is also an inventory/store mechanic where you can earn points via playing that you can spend on items for future attempts, or food for the girls on the title screen to max out their affection, which makes their outfits a little more revealing (but not naked, see "Wet Watermelon" if you want that content). They are fully voiced, but can be muted via the settings menu. The girls are also animated with Live2D, which was a nice extra touch. Overall, I enjoyed Cute Suika: Big Watermelon, and I can say it's fun and worthwhile as a Suika-like. Recommended. ...unless you want NSFW content. Then just go buy its NSFW counterpart instead (they cost the same).

Cute Suika: Big Watermelon, developed and published by Tora Creatives, is a physics-based puzzle game that leans into the increasingly popular “merge-and-stack” formula while adding its own stylistic flair and small gameplay twists. At its core, it embraces simplicity—dropping objects into a confined space and watching them combine into larger forms—but manages to extract a surprising amount of tension and replayability from that minimal premise. The gameplay loop is instantly understandable. Players release small fruit-like objects into a container, where they bounce, roll, and settle according to physics. When two identical pieces make contact, they merge into a larger one, gradually climbing a chain of transformations until eventually producing the coveted watermelon. What begins as a relaxing, almost meditative activity quickly evolves into a careful balancing act, as the container fills and each placement becomes more critical. The game thrives on this escalation, turning simple decisions into high-stakes moments as players try to avoid overflow while setting up efficient merges. What makes the experience engaging over time is the interplay between control and unpredictability. While players can aim and plan their drops, the physics system introduces an element of chaos that keeps outcomes from feeling entirely deterministic. A well-placed piece can trigger a satisfying cascade of merges, while a slight misjudgment can send everything into disarray. This unpredictability adds tension without overwhelming the player, creating a dynamic where both skill and adaptability are required. It’s this balance that keeps the gameplay from becoming purely mechanical, even after repeated sessions. The game attempts to build on its core idea by introducing additional modes and small mechanical variations. These include alternative rule sets and optional features that slightly alter how players approach each session, offering more than just a single endless mode. While these additions don’t fundamentally change the structure of the game, they do provide enough variation to extend its longevity and give players different ways to engage with the same core mechanics. The progression remains largely score-driven, encouraging players to improve their performance and chase higher results. Visually, Cute Suika: Big Watermelon embraces a bright and playful aesthetic, with colorful objects and smooth animations that reinforce its casual appeal. The design is clean and easy to read, which is essential for a game built around precise placement and spatial awareness. At the same time, it incorporates anime-inspired elements that give it a distinct personality, though this stylistic direction may not appeal to all players. The contrast between its cozy puzzle mechanics and more stylized character presentation creates a somewhat niche identity, setting it apart from more purely minimalist puzzle games. One of the game’s strongest qualities is its pacing. Without strict time limits in its standard mode, players are free to approach each move thoughtfully, making it ideal for relaxed play sessions. This slower pace also allows tension to build naturally as the container fills, creating moments of quiet pressure rather than constant urgency. However, for those seeking a more intense experience, alternative modes introduce additional challenges that can increase the tempo and difficulty. Despite its strengths, the game does face limitations inherent to its design. The core mechanic, while highly addictive, does not evolve significantly over time, which can lead to repetition during extended play. Even with the inclusion of additional modes, the experience remains centered around the same fundamental loop, and players familiar with similar titles may find fewer surprises. Additionally, the physics system, while engaging, can occasionally produce outcomes that feel inconsistent or outside the player’s control, which may lead to moments of frustration. Even so, Cute Suika: Big Watermelon succeeds in delivering exactly what it sets out to do: a simple, accessible puzzle experience that is easy to pick up but difficult to master. Its strength lies in how effectively it captures the “just one more try” feeling, encouraging players to return again and again in pursuit of better results. It doesn’t attempt to reinvent the genre, but it refines a proven formula with enough personality and variation to stand on its own. In the end, it is a game best enjoyed in short bursts, where its satisfying mechanics and lighthearted presentation can shine without becoming repetitive. For fans of physics-based puzzle games or anyone looking for a relaxing yet engaging experience, it offers a solid and enjoyable option, even if its long-term depth is somewhat limited. Rating: 7/10
Lovely bohoombas, hours of masterful story line introducing high school girlies. We have got some high grade pigmentation of the oriolalalas. But definitely a mirage to what was showcased in the advertisement. I would not ask for a refund EVEN if i had enough time allotted to do such, but after taking such care and time with my beautiful babes, I have come to realize their love has a limit but their appetites are endless. No matter the amouunt of chicken alfredo or surpluses of american hamburger steak they will never share your love mutually.
