disliked how it doesn't have a way to review your moves. no one with autism can learn them instantly.
Wow! I quite liked the enemies designs. The mannequin was very cool and spooked me for sure. I also liked the ballerina, almost killed me because of how scared I was. It's def a hard game but in a good way, makes you use your ammo only for a purpose, as well as the healing items. Additionally, I enjoyed the idea of the ability and the whole animation of it. The house creeped me OUT!!! <3

Video games allow us to do and experience things that are completely impossible in real life. 10/10, would get hugged by mannequin again.
Great game!
Interesting premise but flawed execution. Game should start on default on lowest graphics setting and not highest. Met the first creature, used stasis, no idea what happens after that, died to creature. Stasis usage felt clunky, and should be reworked that it shoots a blast and freezes creature in place, while player can move, not limiting them to press and hold. Not control friendly.
Cool atmosphere, nice music, cool enviroment, nice ideas. I countered one bug at the start and two fatal errors, but other than that - I liked it.
Woah cool game
Hello ya'll! I played this game at the request of a good friend. I decided to do so blind, only reviewing the steam page and watching the two trailer video's so that I could provide the most accurate and authentic comments and thoughts as I could. I didn't really know what to expect, so when I went in and experienced lots of positive things? I was elated! The experience was only brought down by some occasional mishaps. I sent the (entirely raw and unedited) footage of me playing this game to my friend so that they can see a players live actions and reactions. Starting with the positives! The Menu's go Clickety clackity! (specifically the main menu and pause screen) they're awesome! Overall, whomever pulled together the audio in this game did fantastic. Noises are good, the ambiance is there, the sounds of the creatures is awesome, and generally every sound and music track that plays is great! (double bonus points for the piano playing different keys when hit in different places. It's been a while since I played the piano but it sounded about as accurate as one could get considering the character is slamming parts of the thing with a knife.) The Artistic expression is nice! I love the way that everything is designed! and to go along with it? the lighting in each of the rooms really helps pull together the vibe of the entire environment! Way to put the ooky in Spooky! Additionally I personally really liked the Padlock as an addition, any mysterious and spooky vibing game is benefitted by having puzzles! The usual horror environments give themselves to having hidden codes/items/locations! Not even mentioning that any high stress horror situation can make even simple puzzles significantly more engaging! More puzzles would be awesome! The Models! Both the weapon models look good when taking some time to look them over! Admittedly, this is the pistol more than the knife (which I think would greatly benefit from having a secondary color to it.) but I enjoy the details on both a lot! Enemies! I love em! I think that they're designed in a creepy, human reminiscent way that also happens to be quite unique! (nothing comes to mind about other games having similar looking enemies, so bonus brownie points for originality!) Now, to be fair and pair the good with the bad: - After saving in the lounge for the first time, entering the left door caused a fatal error crash, which appears to have happened to others. (This was the only crash I experienced during my run, so Kudo's!) - The Music for the Twins fight is WAY too loud. Please lower the volume for it just a tiny bit. I didn't change any audio settings for the game (to try and keep them as what was supposed to be the 'intended baseline' game experience UNTIL I got to that fight and had to pause it almost immediately. If it is meant to be that loud and immediately disorienting (along with hurting my ears despite the music itself being nice except for the volume itself) then I must simply cope. But nothing had been unbearable audio volume wise until that fight, where I turned it to 0.1. - I had a bad run in with the door swinging animation. I was dealing with the Mannequin perfectly fine but had an issue with the door (for no better description) spazing out behind me before clipping into, then eventually THROUGH my character model. I have no immediate suggestion to fix this problem except for having the doors open and close into whatever the room your trying to walk into is. - Padlock code solution not opening padlocked briefcase. I had initially assumed I was just a dumbass. This was only marginally brought into question when perusing the community and finding that apparently the padlock solution simply doesn't work for some people. - Knife range, Self explanatory I think. I had to do testing with the piano to try and find an estimated range for the dagger were provided with. (As a sneaky positive, adding in a stasis ability to make the weaker weapon viable when you run out of ammo is both noted and greatly appreciated.) - Tutorials! These are (MOSTLY) alright, but the character (my character at least) having a handicapped ability to shoot and cast the stasis ability when the game tries to prompt you into using them for the first time is silly. It made me think about if the game was crashing or if something had gone wrong before my belated enlightenment into the fact that it was a tutorial and so PURPOSELY prevented me from taking character actions. - The screen becomes more red after you get hit but I do not know If I still have damage after that's gone. Having either no medkits and instead having natural regeneration back to full health after avoiding damage for long enough or alternatively having a small health indicator on the UI would be nice. - I would love animations to be brought in for switching weapons and for reloading the Revolver. (not necessary technically, but it did detract from my enjoyment a bit. Ya'll made (or at least borrowed) a wonderfully designed revolver pistol. Please make a reload animation for it. - The walking noise being quieter whilst crouched would be nice. Pretending that they can't hear me stompin about would be wonderful. - The Inky Gloop is pretty noticeably pixelated at times or in certain rooms. - There's one desk that practically glowed with how shiny it was. It's one of the one's in the first section of the game. Overall rating? It's pretty aight I guess. (joking, joking.) It's pretty easily a solid 8 out of 10. It's picked it's premise, has easily executed upon such premise, and has accomplished what it needs to do as a short horror game. It's good.
Well, it's a free short horror game made in Unreal Engine by a group of students. The game is pretty decent, has some mild scare jumps and offers a unique combat system. I really like the design of the enemies a lot. It does have its own fair share of bugs though, especially on the puzzle-solving part. Also, some achievements seem to be broken and some of the hidden ones have no description, so I don't know how to unlock them or if they are also broken, which imo is such an unlogical game design decision. It's like playing the lottery, but with our precious time as currency. Overall, still an enjoyable experience with some oppsies here and there. You can maybe squeeze out an hour of gameplay if you play it slowly or speedrun it under 15 min.
