I like how it starts off simple and gradually becomes hardcore. Great atmosphere and a fun story. Recommended!

Been playing this game on my Steam Deck, and overall, I've enjoyed it. I love the dialogue and graphics, as well as the chill but on-themed music. (I usually mute background music in games, but with this one, I didn't find it bothersome. It actually added to the whole playing experience.) The more you play, the more difficult the levels become. I had to replay some levels because I was stuck BUT once you figure it out, it's oh-so-satisfying. It includes a shop that some users might appreciate (I haven't used it, and I love that it's not a 100% necessity but more of a "it's here if you need it" type of thing). Would 10000% recommend the game!

CursedSword masterfully balances its difficulty, offering a satisfying ebb and flow between straightforward pathing that builds your confidence and intricate 'head-scratchers' that demand multiple attempts and obsessive planning. Each level clear delivers an addictive sense of accomplishment with no shortage of clever puzzle designs that introduce strategic consumables and careful positioning. Incremental damage tied to limited movement is a very fun take on this classic game style, and I found the additional platforming mechanics wholly refreshing and intuitive with every unique solution. The optional shop is a good supportive touch for the more tedious levels, though I try my best to attempt each clear without it. I do enjoy the dialogue's clichéd narrative as it depicts a self-aware meta perspective that doesn't take itself too seriously while resounding the player's need to clear [b] MORE PUZZLES [/b]. And this game does indeed have many. Very cool art style, fitting grim Bit-crushed music. 10/10 I recommend!

A great puzzle game! Each puzzle will always look simple, but will reveal greater complexity with each turn. The graphics and music fit the theme well. I've played quite a few sukoban type games and this one has a very unique twist.

Atmospheric and intense, it keeps you right in the groove between panic and victory. And then there’s the dialogue… oh boy. It’s bad. Gloriously bad. Full of cheeky one-liners and over-the-top banter that somehow adds charm rather than cringe. Like a B-movie that *knows* it’s a B-movie, CursedSword leans into the cheese and makes it part of the fun. If you’re looking for a challenging slash-and-puzzle dungeon crawl with personality—and you don’t mind rolling your eyes while laughing—CursedSword is worth the plunge.

Absolutely loving this game! CursedSword is an incredibly clever puzzle game that’s way more challenging than it looks at first glance. The Sokoban-style mechanics are super satisfying, especially with the twist that your attacks get stronger the more you move — it adds a layer of strategy that really makes you think before every action. What stands out the most for me is the difficulty of the puzzles. They’re tough but fair, and every level feels like a mini brain teaser. I’ve caught myself stuck for a while on some stages, but finally solving them is super rewarding. The boss battles are interesting too. On top of that, the atmosphere is great, the music and visuals create a cool, almost eerie vibe that fits perfectly with the cursed sword theme. It’s got that "just one more level" feel, and I can’t recommend it enough if you enjoy thoughtful puzzle games with a unique twist. 10/10, totally worth it!

Un juego de puzles de tipo sokoban que hace uso de mecánicas de deslizamiento y movimientos limitados con una simpática historia incapaz de no romper la cuarta pared con cada línea de diálogo: todo eso es CursedSword. Partiendo de la base del más que trillado relato del héroe que debe acabar con hordas de monstruos para derrotar al malo malísimo y así salvar el mundo, este videojuego le da su propio toque haciendo temblar los fundamentos de la mismísima narración para configurar una historia aderezada con una comedia omnipresente que, a pesar de que no resulta demasiado innovadora, funciona a la perfección. La narración teatral en exceso y sin mucha imaginación detrás es interrumpida constantemente por un protagonista aburrido de ella y con mucha prisa creando así situaciones muy variopintas. CursedSword es un homenaje a los juegos de aventuras retro con una bonita estética que no deja espacio a la duda sobre la época de sus inspiraciones y que al mismo tiempo es una interpretación contemporánea de esas historias tan cliché. Su progresión funciona tan bien que no puedo sino elogiarla, con unas escasas mecánicas capaces de conjugar en armonía con los nuevos elementos que se van presentando para enrevesar más cada puzle, los cuales también terminan interactuando entre sí de manera bastante orgánica. Cuenta también, con un abanico de jefes con una jugabilidad que rompe con los puzles tradicionales y que se sienten tanto divertidos como refrescantes. A partir de un tutorial que, a mi parecer, resulta un tanto innecesario, CursedSword se muestra muy habilidoso a la hora de enseñar al jugador sin necesidad de palabras, con unos niveles magistralmente planteados, cuya simpleza inicial va dando paso a grandes dificultades. Y, sin embargo, este videojuego no quiere que sufras ni que vivas atascado, y por tanto cuenta con un vasto repertorio de facilidades, desde la posibilidad de resetear los puzles con un solo botón hasta una tienda en la que puedes comprar diversas ayudas opcionales, sin olvidarse de las cómicas conversaciones ocasionales con su tendero. Aquí no se te castiga por cometer errores, incluso equivocarse puede contar con su lado positivo. En este sentido, es consecuente con su planteamiento, una ligera historia con una jugabilidad cuyo desafío puedes mantener al nivel que desees para evitar provocar más frustración de la necesaria. CursedSword es un conjunto de puzles muy competente y disfrutable, con una narración entretenida que no se toma demasiado en serio a sí misma y que resulta una espléndida adición entre fase y fase. Me parece un videojuego sokoban ideal para aquellas personas amantes de los puzles que busquen experiencias amables pero no carentes de cierta dificultad.
