Cursed Crops

if there was an award for best game of the year of all years ever this game would win the award for the best farmer shooter game of the year no doubt!!

This is a fun game where you place towers to defend your barn from mutant crops while also fighting alongside said towers yourself. While I ended up just [spoiler] spamming the pitchfork towers [/spoiler] , I appreciated the variety in upgrades and towers available. I also liked a unique mechanic the game has, where you pick which of the tougher enemies spawn each phase by planting their seeds beforehand. Each level has 3 phases (day, afternoon, and night), and the "quota" you need to meet of planted enemies increases each phase. If you decide to take a risk by planting more seeds than you're required to for a phase, you don't need to plant as much during the next phase, as the quota counts all previously-planted plants in the level as counting towards it. The characters were a lot of fun too, and I thought the dialogue was humourous. Even if you're on the fence, you should at least give it a try, It's free!
