Cat go up, cat go down. Cat cat cat
Great game, alot of fun. Game reminds me of 3d platformer. It has short hops, long hops. I found it quite difficult, but very rewarding. It has alot of freedom and terms knowing where to go. I really like the variety of levels, each having their own theme. I can see there is alot of love, and easter eggs. It also has a nice story.
Honestly, for an Only Up inspired game, this is very fun. You can tell that the team have put love and passion into ever inch of the game. The voice acting is so silly, the secrets are so cool, and the dedicated meow button is amazing. I'm not typically into these types of games, but this one is really good
A cute, accessible rage game with lots of fun collectibles and challenges. This was the first rage game I've ever played, and while I did find it janky and sometimes frustrating, it was generous with the ability to add checkpoints and respawn so I never felt like it was unfair. As a result, it encouraged going back and exploring, making it feel rewarding to take my time with the game and embark on most of the optional content. Highly recommend to anyone curious about the genre, or even for vets (no pun intended) seeking speedrunning content.
I love this game so much. Thank you for creating it.
Low stakes rage game: A cute, difficult, and rewarding 3d platformer. It has "rage game" elements, but a generous checkpoint system to offset the falling frustration. Also, the cat can meow
This is a really enjoyable game. I mean... you play as a cat....already sold... but the coins are fun to collect and its full of fun easter eggs to find all over the place. It really does just let you explore or try any route you like. The music also 10/10 I'd recommend this game to anyone.
This game so furustrating! In the best way possible. Very fun level design, cute cats, and the best Voice Overs ever for a cat in a video game. Period. Meow.
Love this game. So much more to find and do than I originally thought. The puzzles included brought so much more to this game and I look forward to what comes next with this studio.
(game not complete at 1.6 hours of gameplay at time of review, part of my review all my games effort) (Short version) A climber like only up featuring a cat. There's a bit more to it but that's the gist. I'm not a platform expert and so far I'm actually doing well. I won't spoil anything but even if you don't do well there's solutions. If you like a challenge this game is by far a good deal at $10.00 I got mine on sale so even better. (Long version) I don't usually review games early anymore but I wanted to with this one. I wanted to play only up however, when I heard the controversy I chose against it on principle. Full transparency I do watch GrandPooBear's stream (he doesn't know that I do though and I'll donate to him when he plays deadly towers or wins iron bros). This is an enjoyable game, no if, ands or buts. Is it perfect? No, is this a game that has love and passion poured into it? 100% yes. (The good) 1) You're platforming a cat! 2) The climbing environment seems stressful but if you take a moment there are usually more than one way you can ascend. 3) It's not balanced but in a good way, I discovered (early on) a trick where I can climb any wall without a second item to jump off of. It's little things like this that make games good where if you figure it out as the gamer your skill wins. 4) Music is immersive and doesn't get old even if it repeats. 5) Perfect price at $10, honestly a steal if you get it on sale. (the bad) 1) Two wall jumps are a bit difficult due to camera interference i.e. the wall obscures your vision. 2) Some jumps can feel floaty and cause you to miss your mark.
