my friend brained me with a rock
Extremely fun with a group! The game is impressively mechanically deep, and it really makes you feel like a cultist as you tell others to "Stay away, I can't control myself." It had plenty of tense moments as you hurry to complete the ritual before the cultists can respawn, while managing your sanity and keeping a lookout for defectors. The tutorial is missing a few elements, and it doesn't seem to be under development anymore, but still a high reccomend. Plus it's free!

I love how the mechanics build a scenario where you can almost never trust anyone. There's a lot more uncertainty than in other hidden role games. Even innocent players can be a threat if you get caught in the wrong light. And the ghost system is really well done, allowing you to haunt friends, and or have something to do even when you've been killed.
So far I've only played the game with a few friends, a few being three, and in a 4 player lobby we had a BLAST. This game is a hidden gem and I truly hope that it will get the recognition it deserves. The only issue I have had with the game is that if the person that is hosting has bad internet the movement gets wonky, but other than that no issues. Currently the playerbase is basically nothing, so make sure to have friends to play the game with. FANTASTIC GAME. (They have a discord too, you can join it in game)
killed my friends with a rock. this game rules
This game brings the primal killer out of me regardless of if I'm traitor or not. The presentation is perfect, and the choice to have the Heavy attack is a rock is a stroke of genius, it feels very primal and desperate. And the feeling of descending on someone who you just brained with a rock like a rabid animal is such a rush. 10/10 would exercise my Cain instinct again.
Very Good, Great, Even, Social Deduction Game, Very Great Game; and It Is Not Just Me, no, All of My Associates Have Great Things to Say, Great People, They'll Tell You, They'll Say: VeliKTzar, We've Played Many Social Deduction Games, This One is The Best. Many People Are Saying This
"Cult of Personality" is a "social deduction game" with no players (because it's so badly made). Essentially a ripoff of games like Werewolf/Mafia and AmongUs, but without any redeeming features or interesting/comical backdrop to entice gamers, this fell in a heap and now has no players. When developers decide to steal other people's ideas and make ripoffs of successful games, the first rule they should learn is they have to at least try to approach the same level of quality as the game they're riping off. If I decided to make "Pac-Man, but worse and with only one ghost" or something, of course that would be a disaster. Nobody wants slightly (or in this case, significantly) worse versions of other people's games. This features really godawful, lazy pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks bad because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Games like Terraria and Stardew Valley succeeded despite the bad graphics, not because of them. This is "free" enough, at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 15 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off.
Cult of Kişilik, oyuncuların görebileceği, yapabileceği ve duyabileceği şeylerin kurallarını esneten bir sosyal aldatma oyunudur... Hayatta ve ölümde!
