About
A classic survival adventure — now on Steam for Windows!
Originally created to run on Nintendo Wii U console, Cube Life: Island Survival became one of the first Minecraft-style sandbox survival experiences available on Nintendo’s system.
The game was first released on Nintendo Wii U in June 2015 — months before the official release of Minecraft on Wii U in December 2015.
It quickly made history by reaching the top of the Nintendo eShop charts:
🥇 #1 in Europe
🥈 #2 in America
🥉 #3 in Japan
Within just one month of release, in July 2015, the game earned its own English Wikipedia page, highlighting its impact and recognition in the indie survival genre.
Now rebuilt for PC with expanded shader technology, Cube Life: Island Survival brings its classic sandbox experience to modern Windows systems. Enjoy improved visuals and the original charm that made the game a Nintendo success.
Survive, explore, craft, and build your own adventure — the island is waiting.
Explore living world with wild animals on the land, lurking in caves or swimming under the water.
Gathering resources is a key element to survival. It allows you to craft weapons like swords, axes, and long bows for hunting and fighting.
Some islands are occupied by local inhabitants and you can choose to befriend them, or if you prefer, be a bad guy and steal their items, animals, and fight them—the choice is yours. During the night, it’s a good idea to hide, because Cannibals will appear and come after you!

Reviews
To be completely honest I don't have the best pc so I haven't really been able to experience it as much as others but I will say it's an ok game. I played it on the wii u when minecraft wasn't on it so I did get a sense of nostalgia when playing this. To be completely honest with you the game is alright at best like it has some cooler graphics and some semblance of a story but it's really not that good. The shaders were a bit much and your character looks really ugly also everything breaks way too fast it's kinda unbearable. Also when you drop items it just kinda looks like s**t. Not to mention but the controls are just a**. I honestly wish there was more to this game and if they update it with more content instead of just rtx on it might be a good game instead of a weird minecraft clone. Well that's the end of my review there is a decent chance no one will see this but I don't care so if you bought this game I hope your happy.
The best game
Ok yeah this game is ass I don't know what I was on when I made my positive review
This can be the worst cash grab you can imagine,it deletes your items thru thin air,it erased my diamonds and 250 coal while cooking some gold, I saw 2d minecraft clones that are coded thru toasters better than this. Gnaw on a ♥♥♥♥.
If you like playing Minecraft thin you might like playing this game its diferint, but its fun.
great game would love to in creative mode go the other islands insted of 1 and mab some cheats very hard but fun
Not controller friendly at all but yet is it on the switch push the settings to steam so at least you can play the game with A pro controller
Just play Minecraft instead. This had potential to be what Minecraft is not, its a weak carbon copy - like when you wanted McDonalds but your parents told you we have McDonalds at home, which is usually a freezer burnt overcooked disc of meat resembling a hockey puck on a bap so dry the Sahara looks moist. It appears its been abandoned by its creator and there's nothing inspiring to continue playing.
