Crypt Crawler

Just got into this and I like it a lot. Neat tower-defense mixed with short quests. I love that you can lure the enemies towards the towers. Typically, in a towers game, you just place them all and hope for the best. Here, you are part of the defense yourself (while also defending yourself). Action is satisfying and the difficulty is sweet. Very slick visually. Good design of the levels makes it a successful 3D game, without it feeling like a 2D game simply extruded in the third dimension. You'll sometimes lose site of the PC, but you'll never feel you can't control it well enough. Might be nice if I could move the PC while it's swinging its hammer, but you get used to that and just plan for it. This calls for modestly quick reflexes (which is about all the reflexes I have), but also strategic thinking and planning on the fly. All those factors working at the same time make it pretty exciting. Definitely recommended if you remotely think this is your kind of game.

Fun tower defense game that really picks up once you get past the opening levels. It can be quite challenging but in a good and fair way, I'm still getting the hang of all the different items and weapons I can craft. Planning out my next few steps and then executing them successfully is very satisfying. The art is charming, and the game sets a nice spooky/campy atmosphere. Seems like it could a lot of fun in co-op but haven't tried that out yet, will bust it out this weekend when some friends come over.

Great game! Pacing is balanced nicely and the placeable defenses are fun.

Really test your strategy, act quick and plan well. Level increase quickly and challenges really test your mind. It is a great game and lots of fun to see what you encounter next
