(Received this game for free from Indiegala. Thanks, guys!)
Only a Cruel Arena due to grinds without a pause button...
What starts out as a basic arena-based shooter game quickly grows into an annoying grind. You play as a caricature of a stereotypical black person (I kid you not...big red lips) holding a cup for no apparent reason as he mows down zombie after zombie with an arsenal of purchasable in-game weapons (gained through cash earned by killing zombies). Immediately, my first concern comes up as the lack of variety of enemies to shoot. You get two kinds of enemies, zombies (shown as green-skinned men) and fat zombies (which appear as morbidly obese blobs of sh*t). Average zombies can spawn with either higher speed, jumpier, or they'll have a little more intelligence than other zombies (perhaps they'll go right for your location or they'll hide and wait until you come closer). Fat zombies move slow, but explode with non-discriminant projectiles that harm you and other zombies. Aside from that, get used to seeing the same enemies over and over again. As the game progresses, you need to kill a higher number of zombies without knowing how many you need to kill before the next wave begins. Get used to the redundant fights as the game progresses. The gameplay will get old fast. The only reason you'll lose is due to carelessness from getting bored...and the lack of a pause button. Of course, looking for light green targets in front of a (mostly) plain white background isn't ergonomic for the player, but fortunately, the blood-stained walls make playing this game a little easier on the eyes. Though I can respect that this game was made with some hard work behind it (given that it seems like a one-man team), I cannot find myself recommending Cruel Arena. Others say that the game had a somewhat different design than the one that I've played and had its previous achievements completely erased...but given that this occured before I got my hands on it, it will in no way effect my rating for this game. 3/10 Starts out simple, but becomes a pain in the *ss for all the wrong reasons.

I got Cruel Arena for free, and that's the only fortunate thing about this game. The game is very repetitive, and goal is too simplistic. You're just killing hordes of zombies, over and over again until you get the best weapons - and all the achievements, if you're an achievement hunter like I. I'm not a fan of the screen shake either. With all the red splatters and gore on the BG and floors, it becomes difficult to see where the platforms are for me to move. Overall, I don't see myself playing this game after getting 100% on achievements, and I wouldn't recommend it to others.
This game was straight forward a grind with a massive amount of blood splatter on the walls and chickens storming you. You go and fight aliens that basically die with one shot headshot. This was the easiest part of this game. The achievements were very easy going for this game. Would recommend this game to those wanting to increase the number of completed games and straight forward achievements. Get on sale though.
Sometimes updates are quite unnecessary, specially in this kind of games
Cruel Arena is a fast shooting game, not much to say about this game, just shooting endless hordes of zombies to earn cash to buy weapons. I played this game long time ago and i just noticed that this game has been updated with new models making it like a different game, in my opinion the first hand draw alike design was way better than the actual one *ehemm horrible*. Pros:

I just got trading cards again for playing it lol
Cons:

Visual rework instead adding more enemies / content (currently just 2 different enemies)
Still no pause button, if you accidentally press [esc] you will reset the game, so rip
Turns boring after 5 mins of gameplay

Final Rating:
🌟☆☆☆☆

Fun for 10 minutes. Too easy and just not enough content to recommend.

Chato e repetitivo, enjoa rapidamente. Não recomendo nem por 2R$.
